This is one of the most brutality realistic beatings in a movie ever imo. No words said beforehand, just straight smashed the dudes cheek bone to pieces with the snub nose. No annoying camera cuts and shaking all over, just a straight attempted murder in one clean shot. Ray Liotta looked genuinely terrifying walking away from him afterwards.

Doesn’t remotely look realistic, you can clearly see he’s holding back. Plus, the guys face would NOT be the same shape, with a bit of blood. It would be caved in, lacerated like hell, and he’d probably be dead. So no, pretty unrealistic in my humble opinion.
