Henry Lincoln Speaks

Күн бұрын

With an all-new introduction by filmmaker Henry Lincoln. Almost 50 years later, the original televised documentary introducing the world to the mystery of Rennes-le-Château, the coded church of Bérenger Saunière, and the enigma that inspired "The Da Vinci Code".
In 1968, Henry Lincoln stumbled across a book about the priest of a small village who supposedly discovered a great treasure. "The Accursed Treasure" written by Gérard de Sède was inspired by information provided by Pierre Plantard and contained hidden codes and messages which immediately piqued Lincoln's interest.
As a writer of film scripts, he began researching the story and in 1971 made this first film "The Lost Treasure of Jerusalem?" Two other films followed - "The Priest, the Painter, and the Devil" in 1974 and "The Shadow of the Templars" in 1979. Together, these Chronicle films provide the first glimpse available to the English-speaking world of the mystery of Rennes-le-Château.
Inspired by the enigma, which was rapidly becoming a phenomenon, Lincoln went on to publish the 1982 best-seller "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" with Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh. The non-fiction title followed research through the Knights Templar, the Priory of Sion, and the Merovingian kings of France, finally proposing the hypothesis that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene. In 2003, Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code" popularized and fictionalized Lincoln's research for a worldwide audience.
BUT THE STORY DIDN'T END THERE ...
Henry Lincoln continued his research and went on two write his two most important books - "The Holy Place" in 1992 and "Key to the Sacred Pattern" in 1998. These non-fiction titles never received much attention, but they presented an entirely new take on the mystery - something real, tangible, measurable, and indisputable ... something no one is talking about.
In her debut novel "The Heretic" ~ coming soon ~ Allysha Lavino presents the true discoveries of Henry Lincoln's lifetime of research into the mysteries of Rennes-le-Château. Providing a relatable and reliable overview of Lincoln's findings for the first time in fiction, Lavino explores how an ancient secret buried in code could the way we see the world.
This world is not what you think.

As the crow flies; - I lived just 2½km away, for 9½-yrs. I was told when I visited, that Hitler had landed 600 paratroops on the plateau below Rennes, equipped with shovels, and tents. 'Hitler dug at Carcassonne'. "The occupants of the old city were evacuated and they dug there." Helps me see how some Templar relic in the Basilica had been so seriously damaged. Himmler's lackeys also dug at Rennes-le-Chateau according to some.

The whole story is fascinating and only heard about very recently. I believe that Sauniere only had parchments that he was able to sell to Royal families or a very rich almost unknown/Secret society like The Prieurie de Sion. How could he possibly fence any so-called treasure? Who knows where the other treasures are. One could go on about all this forever. I am particularly interested in the goings on of the Knights Templar, as they seem to weave in and out of this story. I live in central France and I hope to visit the RlC sometime this summer 2020. Thank you Henry Lincoln for all your hard work and informative documentaries.

I believe all this is true. Jesus lived there untill he died. After Jesus was crucified on the cross he left and went to live with his wife Mary Madeline and his mother and his four children. His eldest child a girl called Sarah, and then three boys called David , James , Peter. James and Sarah lived in France. David lived in Rome James lived in Israel. The Roslyn chapel in Scotland has the true story behind it too. Queen Victoria said what lies here beneath this chapel must remain here this secret of Jesus family. Sarah's daughter married into the saint Claire family. They owned the castle and the chapel. Napoleon the great had many secrets connected to all the information with regards to Jesus and his children and grandchildren. Napoleon was so intregued by all of this that he commissioned to build a church in paris in honour of Mary Madeleine.

It's nothing to do with any version of the grail stories, and as soon as you drop the whole Jerusalem, Solomon and knights Templar narrative the quicker you will crack it and know what it's all about, what story does another goat man keep guard of a certain place, of which is referred to as horrible , look at the pictures of dagobert II and pay attention to what he is doing in his depictions, compare it to whats going on in Poussin's and Tenniers, there is not 1 treasure there are many, and it is Gold and in every country. The Rosicrucian order, masons, priory of sion etc etc, are master cryptographers, but they do it by making things so cryptic and riddled with rabbit holes, most of it isn't even necessary, this is why Oak Island is on season 10 or whatever it is, ha ha, there is nothing there anymore, and when you figure out what your looking for, and look at oak island, you'll realize its been cleaned out, and then a whole narrative created to get people digging into the depths, and make it so intriguing that people keep looking for 200 years, those who found what was left realized the secret and took the gold and kept the secret to themselves. Think about it its only a small island, 200 years, millions of dollars and climbing, and when you figure it out, you'll realize you can't tell anyone either, because they wont believe you anyway, it really does require a realization and a big AHA moment. But remember it is about the landscape, think with your heart. Oh and allegory and metaphor is in the sound of words, the spelling , the letters and numbers, and also actions within the stories, so ya know keep ya ear to the ground.

There were three authors attributed to "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail." Almost everyone here seems to think Henry was the only author. One other word: Traditions, particularly Christian traditions, so much of which is non-Biblical, automatically scream, "Blasphemy!" and other such trite accusations anytime something comes along that doesn't agree with their traditions. With the Catholic Church, they just burned at the stake everyone who disagreed with them by the tens of thousands. Heretics, they called them. Not just Catholic heretics, but all Lutherans were considered heretics and burned at the stake in such places as the Netherlands and Mexico. This practice continued in some places for nearly 600 years. Tracking down heretics continued from 1231 to 1826, when the last Spanish heretic was hanged, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica.

@@rodrigodiazdevivar1734 Are you referring to the fact that the documents have apparently been proven to be forgeries due to the code being in modern French, not 18th or 19th century French. This would kind of take away any credibility from most of the findings except the geometry in the area linking the various churches and the painting and other clues which can't be a modern forgery. The info I got about the forgery was from Wikipedia and I'm not sure if that can really be accepted as truth. Thoughts?

"Forbidden to archeologists. Why?" Because nobody likes to have their village dug over again and again by treasure hunters and pseudo-archeologists inspired by Corbu, Plantard. Lincoln & Co.

How awfully rude you are. Henry reached his conclusions without doing an ounce of digging. If you bother to follow his discoveries you can build on the knowledge yourself. Stop being lazy. Before you can say somebody is wrong, you need the intelligence to prove it. You fail.
@str.77

There was nothing rude in what I said. Henry made his theories without much evidence period and there's really no knowledge in them. (Though to the reader who is not sucked in by it, it can lead to very man fields of interest, as it did to me). I wasn't calling Lincoln a treasure hunter but referred to such inspired by him and others. Which was a problem in the village, even if Lincoln were correct.

@@str.77 I doubt there is any treasure in the physical sense as in Gold etc... (likely went a long time ago if it existed). As I said before, people can only claim he is wrong by presenting proof to refute him - or anyone in general. It makes no difference to me personally - other than I have been dishing out a lot of 'I told you so's' lately. However, it is upsetting to see a man who has worked hard to bring his knowledge to our attention be so easily cast off. You must also think of the harm caused by discounting a theory - which may be fact. I am enjoying this subject and I have spent a lot of time delving into many subjects - some are easily refuted and others are not. Two sides to every coin.

@@mercedesblack7828 Lincoln & Co. habe been proven wrong time and again. The fraudsters he fell for (Plantard, Corbu, Sauniere) have long been exposed. What is there left to prove? Again, this man doesn't provide any knowledge. PS. His comment to which I reacted with my comment above is more than telling There is a perfectly reasonable explanation for the sign and he insinuates sinister motives and conspiracy. That was exactly his MO when writing Holy Blood. But I'm no longer 15 and hence do not fall for it anymore.

@@str.77 I'm 47 and I can see there is something in it all. A lot more than Henry has covered (although he may know). As I always say to people *you can never know too much* . Many people look at a puzzle and don't know where to begin. If you don't play chess - of course you will struggle. I was taught to play chess at a very young age and I'm female. Some puzzles I've worked on contain musical notation combined with biblical knowledge etc... again, most people won't be musically informed - luckily, I am. Some situations require a certain amount of knowledge and understanding - which a lot of people don't have. If you don't know the first thing about the subject, you either learn it, ignore it or deny it. Follow the threads, sometimes it goes somewhere and at other times it leads to many things. Henry did get a part wrong. I explain it in my offerings, still being written. I am on good terms with certain officials and I am bringing this subject to their attention.
