Another trip out in my Lada Riva 1.5 E Estate, this time to the 7 1/4" gauge High Legh Miniature Railway at the High Legh Garden Centre in Cheshire.
We enjoy a trip behind Ex Weston Super Mare Miniature Railway No. 1 Dylan and see steam locomotive Leviathan in action.

Excellent, thanks. I did talk to you briefly on the day. I helped build the line in 2009 and built a lot of woodland extension in 2011, I still drop by occasionally to see how things are.

Henrys Adventures the southern extension is now finished and has been public running over it for the past 3 weeks. Our main aim now is to build a canopy over the steaming Bay Area and then start the northern extension of which the bridge for that is almost finished

The railway at High Legh is owned by Simon Hudson from the Steam Workshop. So quite often if they have a 7 1/4 steam loco that requires running in they will bring it down to High Legh. There are also plans for the future to lay a 5 inch ground level track.

If you go to Weston Super Mare it is possible to walk around the old track bed as after lifting the track the gravel was just left in situ and remains today.
