Previously, the party continued suffering through the minigames at the Gold Saucer. At Wonderment Square, Cloud defeated the advanced 3D Brawler opponents: Shiva, Ifrit, and Sephiroth. He earned not only a trophy but also an indispensable Ribbon. The party also went to Battle Square. They finished the easy rank two-person team bouts and then hopped to victory in the Two-Toad Bouts. The party will now continue battling in the Battle Square.

Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:11 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square The party resumes near the registration desk in Musclehead Colosseum. The main scenario "Tracing the Turks" is in progress. Tifa gives one of her Lightning Materia orbs to Red XIII in exchange for his Ice Materia. Cloud talks to the Colosseum Receptionist. 1:03 - Musclehead Colosseum - 2 (Advanced) Under 2 (Advanced), the party signs up for "Two-Person Bout: Birds of a Feather" (1:16). The requirement is to reach Chapter 12: "A Golden Key". The recommended level is 44. The party chooses a lineup of Cloud and Tifa. In Round 1, the party encounters some Chimera Mimics and some Insectoid Chimeras. In Round 2, the party encounters two Skeeskees and a Maloceros. The party defeats all the fiends (6:21). For clearing "Two-Person Bout: Birds of a Feather", they earn an X-Potion and 120 Gold Saucer Points. 6:49 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square Aerith takes the Auto-Cast Materia from Tifa and links it to her Healing Materia. She also takes Yuffie's Revival Materia. Cloud talks to the Colosseum Receptionist. 7:27 - Musclehead Colosseum - 2 (Advanced) Under 2 (Advanced), the party signs up for "Two-Person Bout: Disorderly Peacekeepers" (7:39). The requirement is to complete "Two-Person Bout: Birds of a Feather". The recommended level is 46. The party chooses a lineup of Cloud and Aerith. In Round 1, the party encounters some Scrutineyes and some Slug-Rays. In Round 2, the party encounters two Amphidices and a Landworm. The party defeats all the fiends (11:33). For clearing "Two-Person Bout: Disorderly Peacekeepers", they earn "Telluric Scriptures Vol. V", which provides 10 SP for Aerith, and 140 Gold Saucer Points. For subsequent advanced two-person bouts, the party must complete the main scenario. 12:10 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square Red XIII takes a Wind Materia from Tifa. Cloud talks to the Colosseum Receptionist. 13:00 - Musclehead Colosseum - 6 (Easy) Next, we have the 6 (Easy) category, which lists some "easy" six-person bouts that require two parties of three. The party selects two teams after selecting a challenge. Round 1 of each bout uses the first team chosen, and Round 2 uses the second team. The party signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: The Uncouth" (13:22). The recommended level is 33. For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Aerith, and Red XIII. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Yuffie, and Tifa. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters some 10 Kyuvilduns. Cloud reaches Level 49 and earns 5 SP. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters some 10 Bandits. The party defeats all the enemies (15:52). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: The Uncouth", they earn 3 Mist Mega-Potions and 50 Gold Saucer Points. Next, the party signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: The Befouled" (16:20). The recommended level is 33. The requirement is to complete "Six-Person Bouts: The Uncouth". For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Yuffie, and Red XIII. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Aerith, and Tifa. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters 3 Fleetwings and a Saberhawk. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters 2 Shriekers and 2 Elite Security Officers. The party defeats all the enemies (22:24). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Peas in a Pod", they earn 3 Rubies and 60 Gold Saucer Points. The party next signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: Scratch That" (22:54). The recommended level is 37. For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Yuffie, and Red XIII. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Aerith, and Tifa. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters a Cockatrice and a Zu. As if one weren't bad enough. The party defeats all the fiends (40:21). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Pecking Order", they earn 3 Sapphires and 100 Gold Saucer Points. The party next signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: Access Denied" (40:49). The recommended level is 40. The requirement is to complete "Six-Person Bouts: Pecking Order". For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Yuffie, and Red XIII. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Aerith, and Tifa. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters 2 Mystic Dragons. Yuffie masters the Banishment ability from her Crystalline Cross. Cloud uses United Refocus with Red XIII, and his relationship with Red XIII changes. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters 2 Modded Sweepers. Barret reaches Level 49 and earns 5 SP. The party defeats all the enemies (47:49). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Access Denied", they earn a Spectral Cogwheel accessory and 110 Gold Saucer Points. The Spectral Cogwheel fills the wearer's Limit gauge after they consume MP. The party has completed all easy rank six-person team bouts. 48:16 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square The party saves. Then, Cloud talks to the Colosseum Receptionist. 49:02 - Musclehead Colosseum - 6 (Advanced) Next up are the advanced six-person bouts, which of course are a bit tougher than the easy rank bouts. The party signs up for "Six-Person Bouts: Harmony of Discord" (49:22). The recommended level is 43. For Team 1, the party chooses Cloud, Aerith, and Red XIII. For Team 2, they choose Barret, Yuffie, and Tifa. In Round 1, Team 1 encounters 2 Yin & Yangs. Aerith reaches Level 49 and earns 5 SP. In Round 2, Team 2 encounters 2 Adjudicators. The party defeats all the fiends (55:25). For clearing "Six-Person Bouts: Harmony of Discord", they earn the Transmuter Chip: Ultimate Accessories and 120 Gold Saucer Points. With the new Transmuter Chip, they can now transmute a pair of Enhanced Camaraderie Earrings, an Enhanced Psychic's Charm, an Enhanced Karmic Cowl, an Enhanced Malboro Orb, an Enhanced Draconic Ring, and an Enhanced Expeditionary Medal. 56:06 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square The party boots up the Item Transmuter and checks their new recipes under Accessory Upgrades. Each recipe requires an ingredient sold at the GP Exchange, a piece of Pirate Jetsam, and 4 pieces of Dark Matter, in addition to the base accessory. The party saves. Next time, they will work through the rest of what they can of the Musclehead Colosseum. Like the later advanced two-person bouts, the later advanced six-person bouts will also become available after the party completes the main scenario. Thanks for watching!
