Previously, Cloud ran the Grade II races at Chocobo Square in the Gold Saucer. The Legend Races were just brutal. Now, Cloud will carry out Billy's quest and enter the Gold Cup. Afterwards, he will challenge the Monster of Chaos at Shinra Manor to Queen's Blood.

Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:11 - Gold Saucer - Chocobo Square Cloud resumes in Chocobo Square in the Gold Saucer. The main scenario "Tracking the Turks" is in progress. The party warps to Costa del Sol. 0:51 - Costa del Sol The party checks the Community Noticeboard outside Bar del Sol (1:11). They sign up for the new job, "Gold Cup or Bust". The client is Billy at Chocobo Square in the Gold Saucer. The party warps back to the Gold Saucer. 1:38 - Gold Saucer - Entrance Cloud takes the Guide Moogle to Chocobo Square. 1:55 - Gold Saucer - Chocobo Square Cloud approaches Billy in Chocobo Square for a cutscene (2:19). Corel Region Quest 7: "Gold Cup or Bust" begins. Cloud must now win the Gold Cup. After saving, Cloud talks to the Receptionist (3:30). The tutorial "The Gold Cup" appears. The Gold Cup is available to Gold Rank or Legend Rank jockeys. The Gold Cup takes place over three legs. The jockey with the most total points after all three legs wins the Gold Cup. By placing first in all three races, the rider can earn a flawless victory. Cloud chooses Grade I to enter the Gold Cup (3:45). He chooses Piko and spiffs him up in the Hyperion's Helm, Hyperion's Armor, and Hyperion's Shin Guards. Cloud chooses to proceed to the race (4:06). A cutscene with Billy takes place in the Jockey Lounge. Sam and Joe drops in for some drama. Yeah, Cloud; no pressure. 7:07 - The Gold Cup - 1st Leg A cutscene provides an overview of the 1st Leg of the Gold Cup track. Afterwards, the 1st Leg begins (7:57). It's not as bad as some of those Legend Races, but it is still a challenging track. Joe and Hyperion give no quarter. After some flubs, Cloud retries and starts the 1st Leg again (9:32). This time, Cloud wins the 1st Leg (12:36). 12:57 - The Gold Cup - 2nd Leg A cutscene provides an overview of the 2nd Leg. Then, the 2nd Leg begins (13:09). Look out for the rotating bars with balls. When it is apparent that he will not win, Cloud retries and starts the 2nd Leg over (16:33). After some flubs, Cloud retries and starts the 2nd Leg once again (19:30). This time, Cloud wins the 2nd Leg (23:09). 23:28 - The Gold Cup - 3rd Leg A cutscene provides an overview of the 3rd Leg. Then, the 3rd Leg begins (23:41). Lots of curves, obstacles, and flying feathers. After studying the track for a couple of laps, Cloud retries and starts the 3rd Leg over (26:10). This time, Cloud wins the 3rd Leg (29:57). A victory lap ensues. For a flawless victory in the Gold Cup, Cloud wins the Chocoking's Cape accessory and 200 Gold Saucer Points. The Chocoking's Cape fills one ATB charge at the start of battle. The player earns the trophy "Hall of Famer" for winning all chocobo races. Those Legend Races were especially rough. 31:09 - Gold Saucer - Chocobo Square After Cloud's victory, a cutscene with a very excited Billy takes place in the Jockey Lounge. Sam arrives and sets the record straight for our young chocobo rancher. Cloud's relationship with Tifa changes. "Gold Cup or Bust" complete! The party earns 10 party EXP and 2,900 EXP. A new quest becomes available in the Corel Region. Cloud regains control in the Chocobo Square lobby after the scene (37:49). After saving, Cloud warps to Shinra Manor in the Nibel Region. 39:55 - Shinra Manor In the Courtyard of Shinra Manor, Cloud talks to Vincent in the northeast (40:23). Why am I not surprised that the Monster of Chaos is he? Challenging him requires Queen's Blood Rank 10: Blood Sovereign. Cloud challenges Vincent to a game of Queen's Blood. 41:00 - Queen's Blood - Vincent - Failures After reviewing his deck, Cloud starts a match against Vincent (41:40). After an attempt, Cloud restarts and plays a second attempt against Vincent (44:54). From the start, it does not go well. Cloud restarts and plays a third attempt against Vincent (46:32). Cloud restarts and plays a fourth attempt against Vincent (50:04). 53:00 - Queen's Blood - Vincent - Success Cloud restarts and plays a fifth game against Vincent (53:00). Eventually, Cloud wins (56:09). 56:28 - Shinra Manor A cutscene takes place after Cloud defeats Vincent. Vincent gives Cloud the No. 144: Emerald Witch card. For defeating 29 Queen's Blood players, including Vincent, Cloud reaches Queen's Blood Rank 11: Blood Executioner. Chadley contacts Cloud afterwards (57:05). Chadley marks the Shadowblood Queen's location. She is in the Gongaga Ruins in the west of the Gongaga Region. The party saves outside the Front Gate. Next time, they will return to the Corel Region for the newly unlocked quest, which will force them to have fun throughout the Gold Saucer. Thanks for watching!
