The VMO is not a special muscle that needs to be strengthened to fix knee pain … in fact it’s not a muscle at all, just the lower part of the vastus medialis muscle. When that muscle contracts - the whole thing contracts. Any weakness or symptoms you may have there is only a side effect of the pain - to truly fix the injury - take a step back and find the root cause. It’s often at the ankle &/or hip! Here’s an example. . Shot out @bethanynavarro_ for the opening stitched video, @muscleandmotion for the amazing anatomy graphics & @andrew_lock_strength for constantly hammering this VMO education!

Respectfully, there IS a newly discovered “quad” muscle, as of 2016! It called the tensor of the vastus intermedius and you can find it well documented with a PubMed search. I will try to share a link next but KZbin always deleted my links … maybe I’ll get lucky but, if not, here is a citation for you: A newly discovered muscle: The tensor of the vastus intermedius K Grob et al. Clin Anat. 2016 Mar. Cool stuff!🤓

Actually there are 5. The 5th was discovered in 2016. It's called the tensor vastus intermedius. I wrote this in my 2018 book which included the diagram of it and the study that identified it. I posted about it on my Instagram years ago too.

Oh there is 7 independently functional sections of the deltoid muscles not 3. I referenced the study and pictures of the cadaver that identified this too on my Instagram over 10 years ago and in my book that I wrote. Wait till you hear about the heart... (and chest, glutes etc).

Women are often told to train legs for width to make their shoulders look smaller, waist appear narrower and gluteal volume larger, while additionally being more familiar with the use of angles for enhancing subject matter for socials. The lower body centric workouts popular among women, bias to help accentuate a pear like shape, which is commonly thought to be feminine. Male version of this is men with highly developed upper bodies with comparatively tiny arms. For an example of what female steroid use truly looks like, check out female Crossfit champions. Steroids/Peds create very specific traits which become less plausible the longer a physique is maintained. Trunks didn't go SSJ2 against cell. He went SSJ and charged his ki to bulk up, therefore incorrectly transforming into something stronger but far slower. He and Vegeta both could do this. Goku also did it in the time chamber, but knew right away it wouldn't be useful. We wouldn't see SSJ2 until Gohan transformed. I've tried adjusting my position and things like that just thinking I'm doing a bad form but nothing changed, I still hear that sound. I will say I've been in a lot of skateboarding accidents and my knees took a thrashing pretty often. Lol I wasn't very good. It doesn't really hurt but it can't be a good sign my left knee sounding like uncooked spaghetti snapping lol So I guess I'm wondering if theres a particular squat or similar leg workout that I could do or am I just screwed?

There are 5 quad muscles. The 5th was discovered in 2016. It's called the tensor vastus intermedius. I wrote this in my 2018 book which included the diagram of it and the study that identified it. I posted about it on my Instagram years ago too.

There is also the articulates genus. Further, the vastus medals is divided into two sections, the longus and obliquus.

@@patriciac.a.1614 no actually her legs are not even attractive, she has way too much muscles and that doesn't look good anymore... Besides i can lift way more weight than her, so i dont need to "envy" someone who is in inferior condition. Im just saying she just over did it a little... My legs can literally break walls with a single kick, in fact i broke the gym's wall once because i kicked the punching ball too hard and it's weight slammed against the wall, breaking it... I don't need to envy people who are weaker than me. My kicks are literally lethal.
