So strange to think that we would've had a new album by now. No one will be able to replicate the art that Stephen and Audun made. It was so uniquely theirs, and they contributed so much ingenuity to the genre. Here's to hoping one day some demos will get released, but let's be grateful for the music they were able to give us with their time here. Forever Her's

I remember when I first heard the news, I was in the car and had just listened Harvey. I saw a news article with Stephen and Audun’s picture then I read the title of the article. I froze in disbelief and after a few seconds my brain finally processed it and I just broke down. I felt so much emotion which kind of surprised me because I had barely started listening to their music that year. I just felt so sad. Their music made me so happy and I was excited for the future of their music and the news was so unexpected it was just so heavy. I will never stop listening to their music because it holds a special place in my heart.

Lyrics: [Verse 1] I thought you left alone last night Put to bed my greatest fear I know I don't reserve the right But by simply hoping that he's not here Please don't say that you've seen him She's probably got her life laid out Just let me dream a little more [Chorus] My heart takes up all my strength No more can I think of them No more can I hold her in my thoughts Don't say that she needs him That she needs him That she needs him [Verse 2] He probably lives alone, you know How am I ever to compare? Oh why can't she be alone for good So I can dream, and never dare Please don't say that you've seen him She's probably got her life laid out Just let me dream a little more [Chorus] My heart takes up all my strength No more can I think of them No more can I hold her in my thoughts Don't say that she needs him That she needs him Nobody knows I wish she could Hold him close As if she would Nobody knows How good she could Hold him close Holding him close [Chorus] My heart takes up all my strength No more can I think of them No more can I hold her in my thoughts Don't say that she needs him That he needs her [Outro] I want her to know He don't have it all enjoy singing along (:

You take on a toll when you listen to this band. This is it. All that there will ever be. All of this natural talent and musical bliss, and it was the end, but we were under the impression that it was just the beginning. The toll is emotional. I feel guilty for enjoying their music so much, and it almost makes me feel sick to my stomach. I wish I could trade my life so others could feel the way I feel when I hear this song.

I first heard of this group from my youngest daughter two years ago and fell in love with their sound I'm 57 years old. When she told me what happened to them I was devastated that we lost such a valuable asset to the art of music. Fast forward two years later I heard this playing on my eldest daughters playlist. It was like my ear just keyed into the low gutteral voice of the lead singer of this song....I was like: Dang that soung like... Well sure enough...that's who it was. I discovered Her's a long time ago, like a month after they passed away and since then I've been in love with this song and Harvey. Last night the first love of my life told me she started dating somebody else. Less than a month ago she and I were kind of dating, but from one day to another she told me to give her space and I didn't know how to react, love had me blind and I was a bit pushy, but it was because I love her and didn't want to lose her. Right now this song speaks so much to me, my heart is broken and I feel the greatest pain I've ever felt. It hurt's so much. Thank you, Her's, for this song. Rest in peace, precious boys.

Damn I only found their music last year and was SO happy to find a band that I click with and could listen to every single song which doesn’t happen often... so I came to YT to find out more about them; and this was the first video I watched. I was going through the comments and saw everyone saying RIP and was so confused cause I didn’t know what happened to them yet... until I researched a bit more. I won’t lie that it hurt a lot hearing how they passed. Their chemistry together was unmatched and they really seemed like soulmates from a past life, it was that magical. I’m still devastated and heartbroken that we won’t be seeing more of their talent and gifts that deserved to be shared with the world, but damn am I thankful for them sharing their beautiful artistry. I’ll make sure to listen and share their music so their legacy can carry on forever. ♾ Rest in Love, boys 💕

We are coming up again on the day Her's died. I posted this story before a few times but it has been a couple years. Back in 2018, I was dating a girl who's favorite band was Her's. We lived in NoVa and they were playing in California. She really wanted to see them play so we booked a flight out and stayed in a dodgy motel because she accidentally booked the wrong AirBnB haha. We stayed in Cali for a few days and explored around before the concert. The night of the concert, we were in a really full and cozy venue, called the Brick and Mortar House. There was a bar over to the right of the stage and I saw some curtains leading back stage with people entering and leaving. One of the guys who came from the curtain went to the bar and sat down for a drink. I made my way over to the guy and struck up a conversation with the man. He turns out to be the opening act for the show, Field Trip. A small indie band who I can only describe as lofi rock. The guy seemed very nice and we had a good talk about random stuff like The Strokes and other bands. I asked if he can get a guitar pick from Her's so I can surprise my girlfriend and he said sure. He made his way backstage, and after a few minutes, I got really impatient so I snuck my way towards the back. Behind the curtain right there was Stephen. Our eyes locked and he made his way towards me and stuck out his hand. I stuck out mine and we shook hands. He introduced himself very politely, even though it was his concert lol, and I said I was really excited for the show tonight. We exchanged some pleasantries and I asked him if he happened to have a guitar pick on him. He unfortunately didn't since he didn't really use one when he performs but Audun does. He told me to find him after the show and he'll give me one. The show was amazing and they played all the songs from the two albums they had. After the show, they were by the merch stand and were signing autographs and taking pictures. I made my way over there with my girlfriend and Audun handed me a guitar pick. It was a brown/maroon guitar pick that was way bigger then any pick I was used to using for guitar. it had a guitar brand name on it as well. I immediately handed it over to my girlfriend. Was one of the fondest moments I had in my life. 6 hours later I was back on a airplane to NoVa. Some things happened later and I broke up with that girl and missed the opportunity to see them a second time. I really am not a indie type of guy, my favorite bands are Guns N'Roses, The Strokes, and Red Hot Chili Peppers but I genuinely really liked Her's. They sounded like Julian Casablancas was playing the vocals, the beat came from something like a lofi song mixed in with electric guitars. The bass Audun played sounded like Duff McKagan in the live performances and all that mixed together gave Her's that unique sound. Rest easy...

The boys from 1970s? Or the boys from the Netflix adaptation the last few years? Are you talking about an album? Are you talking about this group? Your captions make this hard to decipher. Google “still remember about the boys”.
