I spent 5-10 minutes of this game trying to convince Hera to build trading ships (due to the lack of Dad marketplaces) by yelling at my monitor. Despite my best efforts, Hera never responded OR built any trading ships (but then the market came up so the point was moot)... Bonus random thought that occurred to me during this game: the monastery technology Heresy sounds a lot like Hera Sea.

I love my dad, even though he tunnel visions and does one, MAYBE two, things at a time while playing. And I can confirm he enjoyed playing this game even though he's like 600 elo. Thanks for the awesome memory you made with him. He really is everyone's dad :)

Watched it all already at x1.75. Dad was amazing Edit: I didn't think you needed that extra pop at 1st. Later into the game the struggle was real, and I had no hope especially when they pushed at the end and got your castles down and you had little villagers to build the final castle. But you killing that trade made it surprisingly 🎉

Loved this. Classic comment from a back seat driver with 900 ELO but towards the end you could have cleared their whole push with 2 - 3 dromons on the arbs. Such a good twist on your format which made for a brilliant one. “Dad” was much more resilient than your extreme AI team mate on Arena 🤣

I could feel your blood pressure going up trying to get those units into the transports from the middle. I think many know that pain all too well from team games. Also I enjoyed the chaos of water, it makes a change from typical land battles. Having stupidly large navy fighting off 3-4 players. They really did not want you on water and they tried their damnedest to get you off of it.
