This game is magnificent in terms of decision-making. I wrrite a short story, hope you like it. This story is dedicated to four players, namely the Resistance: (ResilientMonk44, BarOn von Beard, WnatSomeMoooork, and GirthaKulaR) THE MAGELLAN GAME Chapter One: Expedition 06:10 - Hera formulates the plan, while the hunt for deer fails. 08:06 - Hera remarks, "Micro & galleys should be a nightmare" (not for Hera). 10:07 - Hera secures the first blood. 13:10 - The Resistance scores their first kill. 18:27 - Hera adds demolition ships to his armada. 19:13 - Invasion of neutral islands. Hera says, "If I get these islands, I'm unshakable." (the real question is, until when?) Chapter Two: Landing TURNING POINT 1, 31:45 - What if trabutecshs go down? Should Hera resign? TURNING POINT 2, 33:00 - Defending at home, fantastic timeplay. Chapter Three: The End 45:46 - Hera loses a transportation ship. 46:22 - For the Resistance, the last onager dies. TURNING POINT 3, 47:20 - Hera says, "I can't even do 10 more minutes." And then, the first gg comes. Hera takes a deep breath. 😄 48:12 - Hera, the honest guy. Hera also mentions his alternative plan, trading cogs, multiple times during the game but never employs it. This fact shows his decision-making is fantastic. My ultimate thanks go again to four players: Thanks to your courage, this game exits.

Yeah, he admitted that he thought too much like a 1v1. Every time he deleted vils, he could have sent them on a transport. If they make it, great. If they don't, they were getting deleted instead. Imagine if Red made Elite Caravels and Elite Cannons instead of demos, lol.

The best series currently for AoE. May go down to become the best ever in history of AoE too. Hope it keeps continuing. These are the matches we love to see. Wanted to see you somehow win more 1 v 5 and 1 v 6 extreme AI and so on. This series bested that.

bro how did red do NOTHING but make a few demos lol he had bbc, feitorias, hc, organs, scouts and was just SITTING on it all. if he snuck that around and landed it behind your base that would have been pretty significant. It seemed like they were being separate nuisances instead of working together to push your main island. Regardless very fun to watch, thanks for posting!!

At 3:12, I assume Hera meant Fernão de Magalhães, who changed his name to Fernando Magallanes when he joined spanish naval services. Most famously, the Strait of Magellan in the southernmost tip of South America is named after him. He also led the first ever voyage around the world, however he didn't survive it.

I love this concept on so many dimensions. Seems like an interesting practice for yourself to learn how to deal with very odd situations, gives amazing content since your opponents clearly play their personal ‘S-tear final’ and I’m always glad you could find more ways to sustain living as a AOE caster. And hopefully even more then that since you deserve it! I prefer this so much more then the buildorders behind the paywall concept since AOEII in general has to stay vigilant not to become too much pay to win imo. Having said that, I really appreciate how you want to give people the option not to have to pay for it.

I was fully expecting some LEL antics from the other players, Grey and Teal were good Yellow and Red were average and didn’t get the best out of their civs ultimately they failed to work together which was their undoing. They key to Islands is dominating water with 4 water civs that should’ve been easy.
