Funny thing is the 4 of you could have easily gotten Hera like this: 3 players do early pressure and the mongol only booms then comes in with full elite lancer & trebs much faster then Hera can handle them... Sadly the mongol player wasted a lot of resources massing lancers in castle age and accomplishing very little with them instead of straight up booming then once in imp spam the lancers form 8+ stables at once... Hera is very resilient to melee unit raids and coming at him early with no siege doesn't do much other then getting yr own units killed off.

the very threat of the lancers is what made hera not raid there bases and work more on defence and slowly pushing to the middle is my thoughts.@@grraf1

They can beat them if they are allowed 500 pop and the 6 only 200 pop each, big map and maybe 1 or 2 extra starting TCs so they're working with the same level of starting resources, only major advantage is earlier aging up so maybe just 1 extra TC.

Hera has to battle against an angry Asian, a Greek general, a Sith and even against a ghost... Lets hope that a Jedi prayed for him 8:20 they are right:) Pros playing with beginners/controller players can really help as an advertisement. 20:50 I knew it. If you placed some stone walls around the castle, that would not happen 5 seconds later: a yeah, I did not expect that one:D

Crazy strategy for this map to beat Hera, early pressure like in this game, suicide your units, you lose 3 scouts to kill a villager? it's good for your team, he doesn't leave the base until castle at least, he just can't go to the middle without a TC or a castle, then you wall his city in feudal with a lot of villagers, far from his eye, force him to use all his gold to escape, more walls around the center, walls around cities, walls everywhere, camper the walls with siege

Here are my donjon tips. build a donjon at home and then build 4-5 sergeants. then they can build donjons and attack and your villagers can stay working at home

Please Hera, next time you do one of these make sure that who ever is host plays on proper internet and not some Wifi from Burger King and also someone who plays on a PC and not a Laptop, it was so choppy and laggy to watch at times. I think it's irrelevant who hosts, the game is running on a server. Just one potato PC/connection is enough to cause lag.

Have you considered playing an exhibition against 1 non-pro or lower-ranked pro *but* they have unlimited pauses? Your APM (and credit where its due, skill) is like nothing I've ever seen, but how would you fare against against an old school, old man strategist like DauT when he has all the time he needs to strategize?

The "problem" (I put that in quotes because he's obviously doing quite well in most tournaments) for players like Daut isn't that they don't have enough time to think. When Daut loses, it's usually because he is a bit too greedy (too many TCs too early, sending one or two vills less than needed to build a castle, etc), or because he gets outmicro'd in an archer fight.

Well done! Castle not going up at your base between gold and stone was key and teal that didn't want to engage. Losing so many vills like grey and green while dropping at their elo lvl is equal to not having any army at all. The pace of a 1100 elo maybe would have been the same, but the focus different. Attacking on 3 sides would have done the trick or at least stall the time to go to the middle. Green and grey should have gone for army in Castle age instead of going up.

Absolutely insane on heras part. Regardless of ELO this is super difficult. I’m wondering why none of the other players flanked and attacked his eco guarded by only palisades from the sides? Not saying he couldn’t counter it but diverted attention would be the key in this situation considering the middle was hopeless

You literally just select all the buildings and queue as normal. You can either put the buildings in a control group, or use a "Select all barracks" etc hotkey.
