I appreciate the pause moments, whether you are asking the viewers a question or not, I find it extra helpful to stop and see "Ok, at this moment, this is what to be thinking about/doing". I appreciate all of your work Hera! And he finally started getting archer armor 8 seconds before the GG is called! :P

I agree with others, the pausing is good to take a moment and break things down. I also think these videos good marketing for your coaching services. Those that maybe can't afford get coaching directly have these to watch instead and still learn.

Do you think he would've also won, if he went all in castle age with ca and light cav as you supposed him to do in the commentary? Because imo the deciding action was to idle his enemy vills at his base with his ca. Of course in order to buy himself enough time for going up to imp, deny his enemy pushing further and split the enemies attention, but in the end the uprgraded ca and further imp techs clearly made the difference in the last fight from my point of view. But without imp techs I don't really know, if light cav and ca wolud've been enough, though. Can you maybe clarify that scenario and how it can work out? And thank you soo much for your free content on YT. It really helps BIG TIME :)
@milliondollarart18 күн бұрын
yep, he could just spam cav for 2 minutes, just to raid or make meatshield for CAs
@skipper47218 күн бұрын
One thing is that Mongols do not get the final armor upgrade on their cavalry, so their light cavalry in castle age is as good as their light cavalry in imperial age (until he gets hussar, which is a late-game tech). Same with skirmishers, as the Mongols don't get final archer armor as well. So perhaps an all-in skirmisher + light cavalry push against the arbalest might have worked out. But I also felt like opponent didn't push his imperial age advantage as far as he should have. Maybe he should have sent arbalests home to take care of the CA, or to catch them running across the map. He was shooting houses with the arbalests 95% of the time because he didn't have the opportunity to do anything else. This gave our mongol player time to regroup and get imperial age upgrades.
