How come the top solo shuffle paladins are all using Crusading Strikes instead of Templar Strikes?

Crusading strikes is a bit better dps wise than Templar Strikes in long fights, it is simpler to play without a button, you get holy power faster during burst windows and you can spam final verdict. I saw top players playing without the atk speed talent too.

I know it doesn't make much sense because the templar strikes dot is buffed by the herald tree. I guess it depends on the playstyle.

Most likely the reason is they either don’t like Templar strikes or they are all copying vanguards. Templar strikes does more damage in pvp but a lot of people just want to stick with their familiar dragonfligjt build.

i told you in beta herald would be king lol its templar is one shot and not even that then its dead it needs buffs in pvp but bg blitz is my new cheat code for rating 1800 already same games played in solo shuffle aint went nowhere but ret feels like crap compared to top player im so anxious to see what 11.0.5 will do for us prolly will determine if i play the rest of expansion

Ok this has sparked my curiousity regarding the rating. I don't understand why or what is happening. At 1.6k I went 6-0 and only got 74 rating,, you went 5-1 and got 459 rating, how and why is this possible? Very curious about this.

I am at 1500 rating solo, trying to push 1600. I am getting 0 for 3/6, 4 rating for 4/6, and got ~50 rating for 6/6. If I lose with 2/6 I get -30 rating. How is this even fair, given that I wait 20mins for a solo game to queue.

I know what happened, he was ~1300 rating but won a lot and had 1700 rating matchmaking, therefore he got lots of rating. This is unfair, if you have a couple of bad games in the beginning then you're stuck in your bracket forever.

This is what hapened to be, got to 1550 rating in the first 3 games that I won 5/6, 6/6. And then, I lost with 1/6 or something, one of the healer was really bad and people decided to throw , and then it equalized my matchmaking rating with my actual rating of 1500, since then I get almost nothing for wins.

It depends on your rating from last season. The higher rating you had, the faster you get to that rating this season.

You have a rating and MMV. These will scale towards each other. So, if you have a high MMV but a low rating, if you win, you will gain a lot more. This is to avoid people fluctuating too much in rating and will remove (some) boosting efforts.

@@swagstab It is shit in the beginning of a season. In case you forgot the MMV rating was reset for everyone. Which is a bitch move by Blizzard, queueing noobs with gladiators. They always love doing this shit in all of their games so that people could find games faster and be happy. It is extremely unfair for new players, getting stomped by people that breathe wow pvp.

I’m just spoiled by playing with multi glad pres evokers so I’m generally used to what the HPS should be. Maybe too critical of the average shuff healer at this mmr. But I didn’t type anything and said I could have played better that round :)
