What do you mean by unfiltered fish sauce? Are you referring to the fermented fish in jar without the fish or the one in glass bottle that is called Mam nem in Vietnamese?

@@gchow6009 Either solid or liquid one is fine. You will want to mince up the solid one and extract the liquid from it. Search "Thai Pla Ra" on Amazon website. You will see many brands that can be used.
