I remember when you started this months ago Also something about this video brought out the joy I had with your older videos when I just found your channel Thank you. Edit: I came here a year later (again supporting my point in the original comment) and spotted a typo lol.

Nice vid . Glad to hear a good assessment of this kit for a change . Mine went together easily enough , including the tracks - experience taught me to check the fit of the sprockets first . I took extra care to align all of the wheels, idlers and return rollers then assembled the botton run . When it was dry i tried the drive sprocket for fit by rolling it along the flat track ; i always do this with individual link tracks . I used a scalpel to shave a little from the sprocket teeth and bingo . One thing that puzzles me is how some modelers completely build tanks before painting them ; i can't figure that out atr all

Excuse the typos- i thought shitty youtube had an edit button ... Anyway , i added clear vision ports for the driver (and did wonder why such an expensive kit didn't have any clear parts for the periscopes etc.) and scratchbuilt a KV2-style door for the turret rear , my reasoning being to improve crew access and replenishing those huge ammo rounds .

I did enjoy the video almost as much as I enjoy my KV-5 in WoT. Fun tank, and beautifully boxy. Did you paint it yet?

I've watched your build and am now going to watch Andy's Hobby Headquarters build. He paints his and everything so it will be longer, but not by much. He tends to compress his videos leaving out much of the individual parts you fiddle with. I like that you show the fiddly parts because we all run into those and it's nice to have warning.
@HerbertErpaderp4 жыл бұрын
It would make editing the videos way quicker and easier to leave out the fiddly bits. But it's what I would want to see if I were stuck on a model, or even just considering buying it. I'm glad people find that helpful too. Though I do enjoy Andy's videos too. it's good to have variety and viewing options.
