The actor, Roy Kinnear, died in 1988 while filming The Return of the Musketeers for director Richard Lester. The death was an accident involving a horse chase, and Richard Lester retired from directing films after the loss of his friend. As mentioned, he was in several films, including Help!, also directed by Lester.
