You could reuse the junk base to build a bigass 4x4 beetle with huge tyres and stuff, then instead of headlamps you could use LEDs.

You really should use a small file and gently clean the rough edges off the window ports on the body for a cleaner look on your projects.

Yea I might have been a bit to eager to paint, I saw that bad one in the rear window when the paint it hit. Hard to see from behind the camera. Live and learn.

In order to avoid colours showing through a white decal you can, of course, spray white.over the stripe where the white decal will locate, or, since you're printing the decals, you can generate a white circle the same size as your number circles. Just today, I was playing around with a similar beetle. I made fender flares from beer can aluminum and faired them in with putty. Holelottafun!

I just started following you a few weeks ago. Luckily I still have five or six of the original sweet 16 even though they are somewhat played with, but they're still not in that bad of shape. I find your channel hair very entertaining, irestore real antique cars but I'm not sure if I want to take the challenge on if trying to restore an old Hot Wheel.

Id suggest u do videos about different customization such as adding head light / bug wheels (chrome maybe ) , / better paint job / spoilers , it'll be more interesting to watch as we all can expect what every car will go through (usually same pressure for every car ) maybe you can surprise us with something new , ty.

I love this one. As soon as I heard you were breaking out the white paint, I was hoping for some kind of Herbie Love Bug. Redline tires really tie the whole thing together what with the red and blue go fast stripes. Imagine seeing this thing closing in fast in your rearview mirror with that huge frickin V8 engine sticking right out there all big and badass... "Herbie isn't quite so cute and adorable anymore is he? IS HE!?!? SAY IT! SAY MY NAME BIATCH... SAY IT!!! Yeah, that's what I thought, now get out of my way and stay out." Yeah really, this one is awesome. Doesn't matter what anyone else says about it, it's in your display and as long as you like it, it's all good. I have a couple questions though... Why is the number badge up so high on the hood? Were you worried about it getting scrunched up at the bottom as it dried? And... Did you entertain the possibility of doing a set of mags with rubber tires or was it always the plan right from the beginning to make sure no matter what other changes you made to it, losing the redlines wasn't an option?
