I swear I’ve been a fan since I was 9 and I’m going on 29 and still a loyal die hard Xena fan!!! Xenite4life!!! When I want or need a good cry I swear this is one of the episodes that gets me going! Man this episode was so twisted and just beautifully put together! Like when Xena busts through the jail and says that vision is not going to happen even tho I know it is my heart still feels that feeling of hope like omg they could make it because the acting is just that good! And then the scene on the cross that look and their last words to each other just makes me start bawling! I love XENA❤️

Each had a chance to save herself and yet, neither did, instead choosing to stay with their best friend. Gabrielle could have run off with Eli and Amorice. She could have run when Xena fell, but she didn't. Xena went to the prison to rescue Gabrielle knowing she was walking into the same setting in her vision. They chose to be together in the end. What great acting by Lucy, Renee and Hudson!

I was so shocked to see Xena and Gabrielle actually be crucified. I thought they would be saved, as main characters often were, but nope. They made us feel every gritty bloody second of it. Really well done and I'm glad with what ends up happening. I still can't believe I got the gift of meeting these two amazing women, they were my inspiration growing up and I told them so, even up to "in 4th grade I used to chase people on recess using your war cry and bending peoples fingers back if I caught them 🤣😉🤩👌🏻😈😏😂🫡🫥

My friend thought this was the last episode of Xena and never bothered to watch the credits. She just turned it off after Xena and Gabrielle were crucified and died. She has never seen Seasons 5 & 6 or the movie made from the last two episodes of S6. I should treat her to the entire series! :)

While I distinctly remember watching some episodes this show as a kid, I don’t think I comprehended a lot of what I saw. But as someone that went to Catholic school, I very much remember this scene. Probably because of the crucifixion itself. I don’t remember any of the plot or context that led to it.
