I loved LOVED this movie. I ugly cried at the ending and found myself incredibly connected to the 3 main characters, which were Bettany, Hanks, and Wright. The whole thing about the beauty of life and being thankful for what we have HERE.

Good to know, I’m not the only one who loved this movie. I saw it twice and was moved the second time if you have a heart bring Kleenex you’re gonna need it.

Loved the film despite the bad reviews.

They've been advertising it in Chicago. What I took from the ads is that they are a young couple, middle aged, and then old, all in one spot. I'm a year older than Tom Hanks and remember his youthful face. The AI of him young looks pretty good to me. You make it sound exciting. I'll watch it.

Man, did critics get this movie wrong. I was almost dreading taking a chance on this one based on the reviews but I am so glad I did because "Here" is terrific! This is a big swing of a movie and if sappy is as sappy does, then call me a sap because I loved it! After watching Juror #2 and Evil Does Not Exist back to back this week, "Here" came to the rescue and really wowed me.

Definitely different than any movie I've seen. History of the site , history of the families that lived in the house, and history in general. Not generally a fan of movies that flip back and forth in time, but with a few exceptions this worked pretty good. Good to see Hanks and Wright back together as lovers.

Saw it & loved it myself! Anyone who can relate to any of the conflicts btwn the couples will be left in tears, I even enjoyed the humorous parts waaaaaay more than I expected to.

Thanks for the review! Radio host Michael Medved gave it 3-1/2 stars and a glowing review (he was also a fan of Zemickis’ earlier work, including BTTF and Forrest Gump). So your positive take surprised me considering how negative even average Joes on KZbin where being on this. I’ve been curious if this is even worth my time!

@ The movie was wonderful. I loved all of the couples portrayed over time. I won’t include spoilers about actresses I didn’t expect to see which was delightful. Family life is messy in good ways and bad ways. The movie is insightful in this way. I appreciated the very clever transitions as time periods changed and I loved that it was non-linear. I’m so glad I saw your review first.

Awesome take, and it’s so great to hear that you liked it! Seems like critics these days would rather bag on a movie than be moved by it. Perhaps the issue is that the very message of this film goes against their mission? 😂
@HardlyWorkin-kh5uhАй бұрын
Andy if the whole movie is single shot does it make it a record holder for longest angle in a film?
@MovieWorldPlusАй бұрын
It’s not technically one shot - it’s one angle

I just unsubscribed from all my favorite megxit channels because the community has become way too sugar-like and toxic. This video reinforces my decision not to throw all of Andy's channels out with Popcorned Palace. I can ignore the megxit bs on Planet and still enjoy his other content like this as well. Good job me for not throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

This is a boring film that it keeps playing forward and backward in time and their stories are irrelevant. Just telling different stories in the same house thru different period of time. Luckily, I downloaded the pirate version to watch so I didn't lose a cent to the film making company for this garbage quality film. LOL, I only spent the first 15 minutes to watch seriously using the native 1X playback speed and I immediately realized that the story structure of this film is junk. Then I needed to scroll my remote control to keep pitching a 5X forward speed for each session of time/story jumping in and out. It ended up with that I spent only another 1 minute for watching the rest stories from 16th minute till the end of the film. When you are watching this film. You would end up with just pressing on the forward-speed button on your remote control. The content and stories of this film is totally 100% garbage.
