You are the master of picking out the cleanest , finest snow of the land and turning it into water. Winter is a full body workout. Playing and walking out on the frozen pond makes for a nice flat surface I suppose. Compared to constant rock, elevation changes, ect.

Russell, ever think about filling the tires you drag around with concrete? You could even drive a few 3-4 inch screws thru the tire to act like re-bar to hold the concrete in place. Cheap and easy.

Happy Holidays Russ and family. That ice walk made me nervous, no pole or spike to drag yourself out. As kids everyone was banned from the frozen canal, rivers and ponds. One of the local farmers had a low spot in his fields which he would let flood in the winter and ice over, the water depth would be one to two feet, that was our fun palace big enough to skate on, one year I built a wind sail sledge in the 70's huge fun and we could all be monitored from the local pub. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Has gotten down to freezing and below for a few hours some nights, but the days are anywhere from 35F to 60+F. I would enjoy a little snow but it never does that here. Or anywhere that I've lived in California. Oh wait. Yeah. I lived in the hills for a few years and it snowed for almost 2 weeks one winter. I'm mostly valley or closer to the Pacfic.
