I love the melody of this song. It takes me back to the 1960s, even though I was born in 1953. That was called soul music.

This is a GREAT VERSION of this song...SO SENSUOUS...and I am a big Marvelettes fan...I would not have thought I would like this version so much...I like it being this sensuous...Does anyone know if Barbara ever incorporated this into her live shows?

A great tune. Your selection has put me onto some great music and had me searching everywhere collecting the singles introduced to me by your videos. I started collecting early Motown singles in 2012 with great influence from your collection and have certainly missed your videos. I do hope to see some more soon. God bless sir.

Always liked this version better than the Marvellettes..and the marvellettes are great..but Ms. McNair is a stronger singer than Ms. Wanda Young-Rogers of the Ms and the production and music on this version are superior

I didn't know Smokey wrote this song for Barbara McNair. She was one fine piece of ass. She was a hella better singer The Martha Reeves.
@talbotslaughter91086 жыл бұрын
Martha Reeves did not sing this song. Wanda Young Rogers of the marvelletts sang it.

Not bad, but much prefer The Marvelettes version. Much prefer Wanda's voice.
