I didn't achieve financial freedom until my 40s, but since then, I've made tremendous progress - I've purchased my third home, generate passive income monthly, and accomplished four out of five financial goals. My story serves as a testament that it's never too late to start investing and transforming your financial future, regardless of your age. Take the first step today and witness the power of investing in the financial market, just like I did!

The trick is to create priorities. Debts, Bills, savings then self. You can move these around depending on interest rates but your "pocket money" should always be last. You struggle at first but once collective debt goes down, the end of the chain increases. I went from 30 a week pocket money to 100. I did t even notice as i was more fixed on clearing that debt.

Yeah that's hard for many people who are working on minimum wage jobs or just over it. Also depending on where you live, and how your bills are set up in ratio to your paycheck. On avg, the regular person who may be trying to save money can only do between 1-6%, equal to a 401k, or are trying to recoup funds may go up to 10% of their check, but again that's if they have it as disposable income that can be set aside without having to touch it for extras. It can be difficult. I am personally trying 10% every pay period. It can be difficult especially with gas & grocery prices right now.🙏

Had to cut spending and let go of a few luxuries but I made this work for 6 years until the covid collapse and crazy inflation. The past 2 years were a struggle but I'm back to to budgeting and saving 10k a year. It's definitely doable for many (not all), you just have to be willing to sacrifice certain luxuries. Mine was eating out or door dashing all the time.

I recently started calculating my paychecks and expenses for the next 6 months. The first few months up to now my paychecks were coming at times that had me behind on my bills but this month I’ll be caught up and have about 4 $2k that won’t have to go toward bills up to December. When handled correctly I will have close to $8k by December. This is on $17/hour by the way, I also work 12 hours 5 days a week. If you have the willpower to do it, it can be done.
@Yantel23
@Yantel23 28 күн бұрын
The key part was that I calculated my pay periods up to December, calculated my expenses for each month, and then decided to work as much as possible to maximize the amount I’m bringing in. The work is temporary but the results will pay off.

the comments r being so unnecessarily weird. This is just how to break down a savings goal by having a weekly goal. This is an example, nobody is telling u to save $700+ a week if u can’t. An example is your savings goal itself can be $700 in 6 months, weekly you’d put aside maybe $25-$30 a week into savings.

I know how you come up with that amount but in accounting, there are 52 weeks a year. So six months is 26 weeks. So 385 * 26 = 10,010

Cause a lot of kids would graduate with 100k in the bank and not have to go in debt for college. A lot of kids work but they don't have any idea how easy saving would be not having to pay sent

My goal in life (starting now) is to saved up for my own car and apartment and bank account and most of these requirea $$$$$$$ so definitely when i get my own job I'll saved up little and amount as possible, if i were to have a job that pays $24 per hour and work full time like 15 hrs per week definitely i can saved up to like $480 and keep saving and adding it will go up to $10k eventually but my real goal is to saved up to $30k at least
