Many thanks for sharing knowledge. You are one of the first people who talked about dosing. The range you mentioned is very wide (1mg -15mg), what is the recommended dose and how quickly can we increase it ? Additionally, what are the side effects of increasing B9 at the body?

I have a video I am working on that addresses these questions so stay tuned 👍

This is very relevant to me as I've been borderline metabolic syndrome nearly all my life and my son had autism with GI symptoms and his healing began with giving Cal-Mag-Butyrate due to have low butyrate levels on lab tests

At first I thought you had Samuel L. Jackson writing your thumbnails. Had to read it again.

Chris - what's your view on supplementing directly with SAM, when being MTHFR omozygous for C677T? Is it something that could help and with the energy metabolism, or would there be any contraindications or things to keep in mind though? Would be amazing also having some content on SAM, and when is more appropriate to supplement, and in relation to MTHFR. But in the meantime please if you could briefly share your view? Thanks you so much and for the good work.

@@swintegrative Sorry I confused on the name! My bad apologies. Do you have a view on my question?
@swintegrative4 ай бұрын
OK got it well since one of the main functions of MTHFR is to help the body create Sammy simply taking Sammy can be a reasonable option. It can bring your homocystine up though

@@swintegrative I can't explain to myself just logically, why this would be the case, so please if you could help me underdstand. My logical reasoning would be, that I supplement with SAM, because my body is struggling to generate SAM by itself from the Homocystine/Methionine cycle. Which means, some biological pathways, are not receiving SAM as they instead should, given the methylation struggle. So now, in the moment I supplement with SAM instead, my logical thinking would be, that the supplemented SAM will just be now entirely used, finally for the biological pathways that previously weren't receiving it. And this way be consumed by them, and so without afterwards turning into homocystine again since no likely excess of it. Which passage am I getting wrong, could you please help?

Can I take folinic acid if I’m sensitive to methylfolate? Will folinic work as well. Also could I take a b complex that does not contain any folate?
@swintegrative3 ай бұрын
folinic acid will work better than folic acid but depends on the unique needs of your body

@@swintegrative the tiredness and lack of folate or not? My mcv is too low, my mch is loo low, my mchc is too low since 6 years (dont have bloodwork earlier)..and i thought it could be mtfhr because of the tiredness, lack of motivation, immun instability

Both can cause fatigue yes.

I'm from the UK and I have 1 copy of each gene. My doctor hasn't got a clue what it is. She wrote it down as nthfr. I have high B12 and low folate. Had my own MMA test done which come back as optimal. Suffer with chronic fatigue. My 17 year old son is the same. Just had positive ANA blood test which has come back for SLE. Don't suppose my Rheumatologist will know about MTHFR either

@maxineg1439 most doctors are clueless and they really only are concerned with CBC and othe related factors. I would suggest that you go see a good natrupath ND. It's pretty pricey if your Insurance doesn't cover it but it's your health!
