I paid $13800 for my 2018, so don’t be scared of the MSRP, especially if it’s towards the end of riding season. We love ours and just got the gtx 155 for my wife. I will say in reference to one of the comments I saw, we do use the eco mode, it’s great for when I let my 10 yr old drive, he still has a blast and I can relax on the rear seat and not worry about getting thrown off.

I love my 2019 GTX 300 Limited it will run circles around my Kawasaki Ultra , and it will throw you off if you turn to sharp been there done that ! One thing he didn't mention is the dive brake I love that feature.

The more I see it I still feel it looks like a transformer for the water. I do not question the performance and tech but Seadoo went to far with straight lines. The water is smooth and soft I still love the 2006-2009 lines much more aerodynamic and stylish.

What sea doo doesn’t tell you is the maintenance on there super charged models is very costly. They recommend rebuilding the super charger at 100 hours and every 200 hours after that. I checked with my sea doo dealer it about 800 dollars to rebuild one . Probably could get it done cheaper elsewhere but then it would void your warranty so they got you.

Only the fish pro cooler. The small cooler was not recalled. The big cooler apparently was recalled because due to its large size, a small child can be trapped inside and there isn't an internal latch release.

@Ptguy0618 you can't get shit for 20k. I mean of course you can get a shit boat for 20k but not new with 300hp. This is for a very different riding then the boat. I actually have both, but waited a few (10) years before getting one as I find new pricing is high. Old models still give you good thrill without the price tag. 20k is also not the full price, gonna be $26k before you tow it out the dealership, with taxes, trailer and destination charges.

@@sigor2011 in ten years, with inflation, they'll be charging 50k for these things, just watch. Full size trucks, fully loaded luxury edition are 70k plus, 20 years ago they cost 24k. Center console boats have gone through the roof also. Hell, i paid 130k for my 28ft boat with all the electronics. Going on the water is getting stupid expensive for folks.

@@factionfx I guess, but its so much work for something people may use or forget open etc. The seadoo boats have 12v outlets that work well but stuff eventually falls apart anyways. Some of our stock switches even burn up in the sun not too long into the jet ski life, not to mention the clusters. Good idea maybe in the future, or perhaps a simple solution would be a wireless charge pad in the center console, maybe add a small towel on top of your phone to prevent it bouncing around. A lot of integrated solutions have a short lifespan as technology changes, dimensions change, and phones become obsolete. I remember a land rover a while back had a really cool design to accept your iphone 4 and it would hide into the center console, but once the iphone got updated, that feature became useless as the new phones would no longer match the dimensions or even the port.

Integrated iphone versioned chargers is definitely dumb.I kind of feel the same way about the wireless chargers they have now in some cars (thinking chevy). The phone is in a really bad spot to charge. Cigarette 12v plug in the jet skis would be a good, universal compromise (easy to maintain, no technology...just add your own 12v usb charger. I have ran SAE cables under the dash in my yamaha (2017 FXHO) and bought SAE usb adapters. They stay under the dash (out of sun and direct water). Time will tell on how that works. I am ok with replacing them every couple of years.

I respectfully disagree. There are pros and cons to owning either a jet ski or a boat. Yes, you can take more friends/family out on your boat and do things you can’t do with a jet ski. But the reverse is also true. With a jet ski, you don’t require an expensive pickup to tow it, you can tow with a small Jeep or SUV. You can store the jet ski at your house instead of paying expensive slip fees. The jet ski is more nimble and easier to maneuver, and has a very shallow draft. Not to mention sheer speed and freedom. Boats are great - but they are a much bigger commitment. I can see myself buying this GTX Limited model. It combines the best features of a jet ski with more luxury, room, and features. It gives consumers more choices.

Jet skis and boats are Similar to motorcycles and cars. The sea doo gtx is essentially a touring motorcycle on water. Why would someone buy it over a boat? Simple. They like riding on top instead of sitting inside.
