When I worked at a prison a new officer left his radio in a pod. Inmates got a hold of it and were calling emergency codes and watching officers run back and forth in the hallway. CodeBlue 900 unit. Correction code red 400 unit. It was actually pretty damn funny.

We had a use of force in a cell and one the dingleberry officers dropped his radio in the use (cuz he never properly put in a holster or secured it right) and so we realized it after the incident and had to go back to get the JCAT to return it. Of course he laughed and said he was gonna shove it up his ass or something. So we had to go do another cell extraction and use of force to retrieve it

My dad was 101st Airborne, a Vietnam combat vet and because of that, I never once got the pleasure of being able to sneak out of the house as a kid or teen. At age 26, engaged to be married with my fiance at my parents house spending the night, we decided to slip out late (2am) and go the lake to mess around for a while because we were the only ones awake. We were three steps into the driveway when we heard "where you think you're going?" You never can get over on these men.

@tysentheking Lol. Ikr? Mine was also a combat engr. After doing spot planes in VN he left the 101st & went to reserves in the 844th engr battalion. The one thing those guys can really do was booby trap and rig literally anything. If I even opened a door on the opposite end, opposite floor of the house, he knew about it.

I was a swat officer on a small town SWAT team and during an early morning, search and seizure operation the team Sgt was scolding us because we were making too much noise exiting the team vehicle. Just as he finished scolding us he loaded a 30 round magazine into his M4 rifle the magazine bottom busted away and all 30 rounds fell from the magazine and impacted on the street making the loudest noise. We all stood there wanting to say something and the team Sgt said one word from anybody and you will be carrying the team training telephone pole on every operation. However, all of us begin laughing and telling him to be quiet. no one carried the pole on operations that I remember😏

In teaching if we have a student with hearing issues they’ll have an earpiece and we’ll wear a microphone device so they can easily hear us. I was supply teaching and needed to wear it: thing is that the regular teacher failed to mention the mute button. That student definitely got to overhear directly into his earpiece some off-the-cuff remarks to another staff member that I made, colourful language included.

At least he owned up to it and took it on the chin!! 😂😂 and the whole Mrs. Piggy on his desk every day was a scene straight out of 48 hours.. lol.. I went to do a “knock and talk” on a meth lab one night during a cold winter storm we had.. Walked up to the door, knocked, the suspect opened the door and realized it was me then was reaching on top of the refrigerator quickly.. I noticed he was reaching for a gun, so I drew my weapon and went to back up for cover but his tiny wooden front porch was covered in ice.. My feet came out from under me and there I was kickin and slippin on my back trying to get a good bead on him while screaming to my partner gun gun gun!! And all 3 of us, suspect included, started laughing our butts off.. 😂😂 That followed me till retirement.. So many great stories!! Still lovin the channel @ShawnRyan !! I can relate. I'm a serving police officer, and I was in an Accident and Emergency department of a hospital in a cubicle taking a statement off a victim. In that particular part of the hospital the radio signal was really poor, so I took the radio off my vest and hooked it up on something in cubicle where the signal was better. Anyway I finished a 13 page hand written statement and headed back to the station. Whilst driving back are thought that radio transmissions were really Q. It was at that point I realised I'd left my radio hanging up in the cubicle! Let's just say I returned to the hospital rather quickly and luckily enough the radio was exactly where I left it.

Being a small town SWAT guy in a city in North Carolina, which had the nickname “Fayette - Nam” back in the day was no joke! That was when a lot of people used to sell black market stuff to local pawnshops on a regular basis. It got so bad that they had to drive towards Raleigh to unload a lot of stuff. That’s where a lot of highly illegal things went down.

Before I went to the narcotics unit, I was working my street beat, made an arrest and took them to the detention center. I put my duty pistol in the lock box before taking the suspect in the sally port. While doing paperwork in the jail, a hot call came out. I threw my paperwork at the booking officer and ran out, lights and siren to the call. Ran up to the house, started to go hands on and my sergeant looks at me and laughs….in the middle of an arrest….”Where is your pistol?”. Needless to say, Sarge took that arrest while I drove back to the jail and retrieved my gun 🤦‍♂️

5:41 I’m a HAM radio enthusiast I’m a FengBro 😂. Anyway my city (Phoenix) has mostly gone digital encrypted P25 so it’s non accessible to average Joes like me. There is one statewide agency in my area that still uses non encrypted HAM frequencies so I was listening to them one day just expecting nominal transmissions when all of a sudden some dude came over the airwaves talking 💩 to the LEO’s. At 1st I thought I was somehow hearing a suspect talk crap to the officer arresting them like I thought the officers radio had keyed up while arresting a suspect picking up the suspect’s displeasure of being arrested but that WASNT the case. It became clear that someone was using a radio they had to key up on a LE frequency to talk crap to them. The person kept going for minutes and minutes which was actually disrupting the LEO’s from transmitting over the emergency frequency as needed. I don’t have any type of HAM license all I do is listen but I’m not one of those “sad HAMs” that thinks you shouldn’t even listen if you don’t have a ham license but as a tax payer and a supporter of good law enforcement it was infuriating to hear someone block officers from using their radio as needed then add on top of that all the disrespectful stuff the person was saying over the radio smh.
