I just went to the grocery store where an experienced cashier was training a very young new hire. When the new hire rang up my order she was to give me $3.44 back in change from a $20 dollar bill. As everyone knows, there is a spot for quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies in each drawer, and she didn't know how to make .44 cents out of the change she was staring at. Saw it happening 20 years ago in education and decided to find an exit strategy. Although I can’t back up the stats, when I first started teaching, admin had 60% male and 40% female with a few of the females being openly gay. When I left, and I did leave, 90 to 95% of admin were female and about 65% of these females were openly gay. When a female took the director’s position, she hired on a co director to help with all her work and payed her an equivalent salary. This position was now at twice the price with the work of one being divided in two. Before this, it was always a one person job.

I recently returned to my college (having dropped out when my fiancé died) to finish my degree and improve my chances of getting a better job and let me tell you, it was night and day. My alma mater was fairly liberal when I first started over a decade ago but it was fairly welcoming to people with conservative leanings. When I returned, the atmosphere was so toxic that I knew that I had to be careful what I said and did. I didn’t join any clubs nor did I try making friends because I knew from listening to in class discussions that they’d hate me because I had conservative leanings. I even had my prayer for Israel (after October 7th) erased from the campus ministry prayer board (there were plenty of prayers for Palestine though). I added it along with the notation for Genesis 12:3 “Those who bless you, I will bless and those who curse you I will curse.” Nobody ever tried erasing it again. I was so happy when I finished my degree because I was so sick of walking on eggshells.

Good question. I think it starts by raising our children actively, and to be aggressive in asserting our rights as parents - schools and doctors offices should never be allowed to override us. But parents have to fight. There are already kids in high school, and young adults, who have had this woke crap shoved down their throats doe over a decade - and they hate it. That’s a start. But one thing I notice is that, overwhelmingly, the lefties are more dependent on the rest of us, and everyone else supports them. Meaning: everyone needs an electrician and a mechanic (usually filled by non-wokies) - but college professors, Starbucks, “speakers”, politicians, they all depend on us to support them. So just opt out. Absolutely no one needs to go to Harvard, go somewhere else. Absolutely no one needs to hire a UCLA grad with pink hair and pronouns, so hire another applicant. Absolutely no one needs to buy Starbucks, or buy from Target with their children’s alphabet merchandise, so stop giving them your money. The rest of us will only be mildly and temporarily inconvenienced (if at all), but it will cripple them.And that’s how we start.

But I think it would be better if the authorities used political orientation instead. The problem is that the opposite of "diversity" in English is "uniformity". It's hard to argue, that full uniformity is solid. This "uniformity" creates a tension, because many people know that full uniformity can't be working well. In Polish, there is "zróżnicowanie"/diversity and "jednorodność". "Jednorodność", is related to family bonds (rodzić/birth). Thus, in Polish, the word for "uniformity" fosters family ties, not "unification of form". This is a case, where Polish is superior to English.
