Lexus minivan please. It's more productivity than pick up truck (at least for myself). People like me, need a safe, good MPG, and reliable vehicle to go to work 5 days a week, spending a family time on weekends, and occasionally take a couple field trips for vacation a year... I don't have and don't need a boat or trailer to tow, and I don't drive "off road" to go to work or vacation so pick up truck is definitely not what I needed.

Toyota's baby Land Cruiser might not be based on the Corolla Cross after all despite its main market focus being Southeast Asia. It may be based on the TNGA-F architecture used by the Tundra, Tacoma, Land Cruiser 300/Lexus LX, Land Cruiser 250/Prado/Lexus GX, and the imposturous Sequoia thus allowing the baby Cruiser with the wheel on the rear door to go after the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, and Land Rover Defender. I really don't think it would go after the Suzuki Jimny since the latter vehicle is way too small and is only a 3-door model.

Please Lexus, body on frame pick up truck ,will Gas and Hybrid Powertrains , and more Efficient Internal combustion engines too, running on cleaner burning fuels, and here are these Options 1. N/A 4.4 L DOHC V8 with 580 hp , 2. Gas and Hybrid V8 engine powertrain with 687 hp ,and 3. Gas and Hybrid V6 engine with 485hp ,and 4. N/A V6 engine with 445 hp and a EV model as well !! What makes this especially interesting is that it could be a rivian fighter aswell as the next LX and HOPEFULLY a potential Escalade IQ Fighter. The benefit of using solid state is that it wont take forever to charge and it will put less stress on your home charging network,

They could create other high end BOF models like an escalade flagship fighter like maybe an LX EWB. It would do insanely well expensive electric suvs tend to do very well in the US.

What if Lexus made an all-electric LX that went the way of the modern Range Rover? What if Toyota did an all-electric Land Cruiser that could gain a most-likely not-for-USA Capstone trim and take on the Chevy Tahoe/Suburban EV, Rivian R1S, GMC Yukon EV, Cadillac Escalade IQ, Jeep Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer EV, Ford Expedition Lightning, Lincoln Navigator EV, and even an all-electric Nissan Patrol?

If Toyota could produce their version of the Jimny and then give it a Hybrid Powertrain, it would be awesome. Just don't make it too big, a little bigger than the Jimny or even the same size would be great.

If Lexus is serious, they can study why the Blackwood and the Escalade EXT failed (even the Mark LT failed int US). Then they can make a decision. And as another fellow person said, there's already the Tundra Capstone.

I agree, however Lux Pickup trucks exist and they are doing extraordinarily well (rivian r1s). I think lexus could really hit a home run with this dedicated platform and it could spawn the next LX and an escalade fighter.

The Lexus pickup truck is already out! I saw it 2 weeks ago at a restaurant in downtown Miami called Okey Dokey. I keep telling people and no one believes me which is why I keep looking for proof on KZbin! Based on how electric vehicles look, the Lexus pickup truck doesn’t look electric!! That thing was beautiful all the pictures I’m seeing does this truck NOOOOO JUSTICE!!!!!! It’s had a unique brown color with black top. I’m not a pickup truck fan but it had me looking I actually want it!! I told my husband and he told me Lexus doesn’t have a pickup truck, I wish I took a picture of it but I didn’t know it would have been such a big deal. SMH I’m planning on asking the restaurant for some type of video footage or something cause that might be the only way to prove it. Sigh. I saw it on Saturday September 16th at or Sunday September 17th at Okey Dokey restaurant down town miami around 2pm.

I think a Lexus pickup in the USA is extremely unlikely. Didn’t work with Lincoln or Cadillac. If you want a luxury truck you get a Toyota Tundra Capstone, Ford King ranch or platinum or a Ram Laramie limited. That’s what people want.

Lexus is known for luxury and $$$$. It will be a very small group of people that will be willing to pay $70k+ for a truck. At least not enough people to make a meaningful profit. Trucks hit the wrong demographic of people that drive Lexus.

Hopefully this doesn't come to fruition. People in the US need more wagons and less trucks. Plus Toyota can only sell a pickup in the US and not anywhere else, since in most other countries one uses something like a ford transit when they need to carry something big and having those on quick rent would do more good for the environment. Only reason trucks got popular in the US is, because of dumb emissions regulations and laws around them and idiotic drivers licenses.

As much as I'd like to see Lexus' interpretation of an electric luxury pickup, something tells me this is a bad idea. These are niche vehicles with limited numbers mainly because of the outrageous prices they're commanding. We can expect it to start well into six figures. We'll see how the upcoming Cybertruck does.

Hi Kirk, I would definitely purchase a Lexus pick up truck if it had a V8 or a V6 engine but not electric when they build the infrastructure for electric vehicles which is not gonna be for a long long time that’s what I’ll start buying ELECTRIC probably around 2040 ….🇯🇵❤️🤍
