You can also get a dragon egg if you upgrade the ruins of Summerhall. I don’t know if it’s a small chance or if always happens but on my first run after the update I got an emerald dragon egg when I finished upgrading and turned the ruins into a castle.

NGL, I'd love the ability to just sponsor myself on an adventure. A literal 'Adventurer event chain' but instead of RNG'ing an NPC to spawn, just launch an 'Adventure' activity like you would a hunt or a feast. Travel to your target destination, get a bunch of events along the way like a normal NPC adventure does, get the rewards based on what the Intent of the adventure was and the abilities of your character/events that occurred.

I don't know if it's been said before, but I will confirm you CAN actually get one by fully rebuilding Summerhall. After you've rebuilt the 4 stages of the ruin and THEN rebuilt the palace itself (the landmark) you get an event where you're finalizing the clean-up of the place and you find one egg among the debris. Beware though that each stage is about 500-700 pieces of gold and can take more 8 years. And I'm talking with the architect upgrades. Also I don't know if it triggers always, or if you're not a Targaryen, but I can confirm it works with custom characters.

I looked into the game files. There is a 5% chance to get a Emerald Dragon Egg when you use the "Escape to Summerhall" decision. Restoring is not necessary. By far better odds for save scumming

Then type 'effect agot_create_artifact_dragon_egg_effect = {OWNER = this}.' A dragon egg should be added to your inventory. Just take it out of your pocket and you have a dragon egg in real life!

I say that bc after I hatched my dragon from its egg, it had the 'prophesied' trait? (Also the egg was black-red, and had the massive health bonus so it was a gut feeling lol)

Its a decision, which appears if you're fire obsessed and on the iron throne. And the success rates were featured in the video... 1% to turn, 2% to survive and not turn, 97% chance to die If you are looking to debug the decision use bypass_requirements and it should show up in the list

Yes, and it have multiple outcomes. If the Blackfyres got his Dragon your dragons will hatch unless you cancel the event to invade them. From experience sacrificing Egg (Aegon V) is the most secure way to get dragons, but you can also hatch eggs sacrificing Duncan the small and Rhaella sometimes, giving only Kings blood does not seem to work (at least I’ve tried many times without success), but it can trigger either the tragedy or a simple destruction of the eggs, so it is possible that it hatch with a minor chance.

Sadly, not that I've found. There is an event command for it but it doesnt link to the dragons properly. Dragons will only find a mate in a Dragonpit afaik Outside of that, you've just got bad clutch rng. I'm guessing if it's not a fertile dragon you'll get a clutch when it hits full adult and ancient. TLDR they produce a minimum of two clutches, and normally one per age cycle maximum ish. So it'll pick two of the age ranges between young - ancient and put say one clutch per range

you can make 2 dragons mates with "add_relation soulmate (dragon ID 1) (dragon ID 2)" ignoring the " and replacing the dragon id placeholders with the actual ids, dunno if it effects egg chances

no, you get it through the event that triggers when you visit winterfell if you select the crypt option, it has stupidly low odds though so I wouldn't rely on it

There's a chance 1/300 you get dragon eggs when visiting province of Red Lake to recover dragonlore. 11/310 for characters with dragon dreams trait. If you find them, 90% chance you get 1, 9% you get 2, 1% you get 3. I also notice in year 301 that a member of a bastard house in thargarian dynasty obtained an egg. She lives as a courtier in Longbar, since his father was kicked out of dragonstone. I have no idea from where she got it or if she was the originnal owner. It could be the one you get when visiting dragonstone caves or it could come from another source. any idea on how to see global flags so that I can track the source down? EDIT: she hatched the petrified egg!! she's just a normal courtier. no way she performed a ritual, so I assume npcs consider petrified egs as normal ones. Or maybe petrified ones are considered normal ones after somebody successfuly does the ritual, which I did.

Or you can just use the "Valyrian Steel" mod, get 500 Gold, fund a mission to old Valyria and you get a chance for an Egg to be brought back to you yaaaaay^^

I think it'll take about a week, I believe there's new IDs etc for working eggs as apposed the pedistal items and such

@@Midgeman So turns out they released an update pretty much right away and you can "cradle" the eggs as an option so they should be the same eggs, adding a new way to get them. You can now even invest some more gold for the mission to Valyria to specifically select the kind of item you want.
