Correction: I misspoke and said one of the hot swap PCBs has a split space bar. I meant split backspace. I pointed at the backspace but I totally said spacebar and did not notice at all until it was pointed out lol. Sorry for any confusion! Such an awesome looking board. Loving that accent piece! What do you guys think? Would you pick this up? Are you planning to? Let me know!

It looks really nice! If it's anything like the Envoy it will be a winner. My Envoy is my favorite keyboard for sure!

I have the Mode Sonnet and Envoy. I love them so much! I do have a Keychron K8 Pro, but I’m all-in with Mode now. I won’t be getting the Tempo, since it’s too close to the Envoy,. I am waiting for a TKL like the 80 to come out. Love Mode’s Anthracite silent tactile switches, and their keycaps too.

Edit: been pointed out elsewhere it could be to avoid being sued, so fair enough I guess, but it's still not WKL in any way. If you're using this without your caps lock being mapped to control/command (ideally modtap w/ the tap being escape or caps lock), you're really missing out though in my opinion 60% with symmetrical blockers? It's an HHKB without split backspace. I get that they're doing the same marketing thing that Angry Miao failed so spectacularly to do, but it's a lot closer to lab HHKB than a WKL 60%

The difference between the hotswap pcbs is hotswap w/ split backspace or hotswap w/ full backspace... not split spacebars

This looks legit, price seems high though

For a "premium" keyboard it's a super fair price imo. You can usually not get this type of quality (and quality control!!) at this price.
@znub206 Жыл бұрын
@@aiims_music You think that, but, this is what the price for premium keyboards is starting to as the manufacturing costs are going down.
@aiims_music Жыл бұрын
@@znub206 I definitely get what you mean but manufacturing cost haven't actually dropped compared to the last couple of years. We just get a lot more budget keyboard options that are e.g. Made of metal and come with a case. Premium is still very expensive (looking AM AFA, or the Odin)

@@znub206 not sure what planet you live on but costs aren't going down anywhere, for anything.
@znub206 Жыл бұрын
@@jc51373 relax your ass. Keyboards like this were double the price before. You can get decently premium keyboards for less than £200 now. You’re talking about the economy in general. In that case the price of milk is proportionally more than keyboards right now
