As a household of cynical jazz musicians we agree we've never witnessed such overwhelming mastery of harmony and creative control. Your son is clearly a once in a generation prodigy.

My grandmother 1915 to 2000 could sit down and play anything on the piano, chord anything. Not look at the keys, could not read music charts! We were always amazed! She came to Earth this way!!! Her grandchildren are all musical as all get out!!!! DNA??? MY mother loves Jazz and supports jazz in the schools!!!

Oh my! What a You-Tube hidden treasure. You two are awesome, inspiring, oozing with talent from every pore. Your bond bleeds through the music. How rare and precious for a mother and son to be able to make such beautiful music together. I, too, have a son, and I'm really feeling your love.

I have just discovered Jacob Collier!!. I am breathless...by the musical ability and extraodinary imagination that Jacob has. His ability to change simple chords into the most beautiful substitutions imaginable. In myopinion, he is way beyond the ''hi-lo's" and the Four Freshman, who I've seen many times in Las Vegas. I would love to have jacob perform in South Florida, or Las Vegas. No rapping, no fake instruments, just a MASTER at piano, bass, percussion and who knows what other instruments. His perfomances keep me breathless and keep me glued to whatever he is playing. If you had Michael Bubla's band, Jacob, I'm sure you can perform MAGIC with your arrangements.

That's him actually playing bass I presume...listen at the beginning of the piano solo when he plays the higher notes of the bass...perfectly in tune.. This is wonderful.

This is just an incredibly wonderful and fresh sounding treatment of a lovely standard song. It makes my heart warm to see this collaboration of Mother and Son, two incredibly talented musicians. I'm inspired to practice and to make music even more beautiful. I love the sound and feeling you have on violin, Suzie and Jacob is just nothing short of a musical phenomenon, and a genius if I may say so. You must be incredibly proud. I'm amazed and delighted. I'm afraid some of my peers are just too closed minded or possibly envious to admit this themselves about Jacob's obvious talents and gifts. Too much ego I suppose, poor fellows!

My hope for the future is rekindled when I experience young talent like this. It makes me feel that the possibilities for mankind's redemption are real and within reach. Hopefully we will evolve soon enough to preserve this music and appreciation for beauty. I am profoundly humbled and deeply inspired by Jacob Collier. FANTASTIC videos. Thank you for sharing.
