I know this is an old review but I thought anyone in the market for a used one might be interested to know that the car holds up well. We bought a 2013 Limited AWD V6 model new in late 2012. We still have it and it runs fantastic. The only issue we had with it was the driver's heated seat stopped working and was fixed under warranty. We had to replace all brake pads and rotors at 30,000 miles (50,000 km). We now have about 65,000 miles on it and no other issues at all. The AWD is fantastic in our deep snowy Canadian winters. We use Michelin X-ice 2 winter tires. I love driving it in the snow! A friend of ours has a 2009 V6 AWD with 140,000 miles and they love it. They were mad when they found out Toyota doesn't make them any more as they wanted a new one recently. Can't go wrong with this as a used car.

I have 2013 LE V6... Over 100K now, there are no problems at all beside regular maintenance... It is enjoyable to drive from FL to NY and back (8 times now) and I still love it... I will drive it till it dies...

Hi Dave - this short version shares the stats and facts from the manufacturer but lacks your honest assessment and comparison to similar competitors, which I prefer. I can get the stats from the website; what I want from you is your opinion presented in your usual enlightened perspective. Tell us what you really think.

I purchased the 2013 with 52,000 miles on it, AWD and the 2.7l 4 cylinder. I have driven more than 2 million miles, and of all the cars and trucks I have owned, THIS is the most COMFORTABLE, and CONFIDENT driving "car" I have owned. I drove it 6250 miles last month, uses no oil, and depending on your speed, terrain and wind, I see on the flat with no wind and 65, in the 30 MPG range, but do 75 with a headwind, and you will see it in the 20's.

Can you do an offroad test of this car? It has almost the same ground clearance as a CX5 and you did a nice offroad video of that.

Dave...I have to say, i'm not of a fan of this type of format. I think most viewers enjoy your hands-on, well balanced personal and professional reviews that you do. These feel like extended commercials. They do not feel as connected as your other reviews. I personally enjoy seeing you speak to different elements of the vehicle. A voiceover does not always convey the same message as a "live" review: one where you are physically present. Keep up the great reviews, keep them "live".

Sorry but shorter vids look like I'm watching some other channel reviews. When you do a live review and you stand next to the car, and operate it, it is easier to see how well (or badly) it works and functions. Please go back to old format.

Don't like this format. Check out TTAC on how to do it right. The 4 cylinder is gutless for 2.7L of displacement, interior build quality is laughable, pricing gets bizarre quickly, no 3rd row (wouldn't fit on the platform anyways but will detract buyers), exterior is nothing to look at (new colors won't help). Hardly any MPG savings over anything else.

DanielJr Dave reviewed the Limited AWD - the best (and most expensive) option for the Venza. That's the reason for the crazy price tag. I'm sure you can find this pre-owned in your price range!

Sterdad @DanielJr You can find these for far less than 40K. I just got mine last week for $18k..used with 41,000 miles on it...was used by one person as a lease and only used it for mountain trips...very good on snow...don't give up your search :)

YGTV(Yassir's Gaming,Tech&Vlogs) yeah I literally just got mine on Saturday for 18k 2013 with only 26,000 miles on it. It had only one owner and she drove it like less than 9,000 miles a year. I love it. it's got wood grain, Bluetooth, dual climate control (the wife loves that), 3.5L engine v6, 20inch rims and the space is amazing. with this car you can feel the power when you press on the gas. I'm so happy I went with it. I test drove a Nissan pathfinder, the space in the car was horrible. I test drove a Nissan murano, just didn't feel right. My wife said it was cute. \_(O_o)_/ anyway, you don't need to go brand new when searching for a car.

These shorter reviews seem a bit generic and impersonal. They lack your personality and I think it's more helpful to the viewers to actually see you interacting with the car and its features.
@liquidice06
@liquidice06 11 жыл бұрын
Also, I don't mind long reviews...they give the viewer a different look rather than a quick 2-5 minute review. If you could somehow condense your longer videos into 5 minutes, then you'd be one of the few that can have an engaging, in depth review. Most short reviews i've seen leaves me wanting to know more information: they tend to be cliff hangers. Who likes a cliff hanger? :-) Keep up the good work and stick to what feels good for you! Your fans will still be your fans.

what happened to having a real opinion about the vehicle? your reviews of late are getting quite homogenized , much like motor trend magazine. I know the "other guy" in the review videos was a bit offence but at least you had a bit of back and forth about the general impressions about what you just drove. Remember, anyone can look up the facts about any of these vehicles from the manufactures websites. People want a review that compares , contrasts and rate a vehicle against it's competition.

A question : All the versions of venza got that television on the front ? I know that doesn't define a great car. But I'm thinking to buy it. Definitely, is a great family-modern van. It doesn't have 3 rows but that fine.
