My Renegade is in the shop and I have a Sportage for the next week. I have to say, I'm thoroughly enjoying this car. Boy it is FAST!!!!! I drive in sport mode just to go down the street lol. The only negative is the mirrors. All of the mirrors just make everything look extremely close, closer than it needs to be. I'm constantly playing with them but it doesn't do any good.

Wow! Very solid review, Nolan! The Sportage definitely seems to live up to its name, but if consumers are in the search for the most practical and fuel efficient compact SUV they'll probably find other entries to be slightly more sufficient. All in all, though, the available premium features, the bold styling, and the relatively modest pricing of the Sportage makes it a pretty enticing buy. Keep up the great work, Nolan!

I own the SX and I loved it. For me the sporty aspect was the most important and the Sportage was the best within the small SUV for the price.

This thing is bulletproof...burnt the end of the spark plug off and blew it out the exhaust through the turbo and still running without a miss. Changed plugs and trading for a Camry ASAP
