That’s so cool that you made his dream come true. I did one for my youngest when she was little. She had a dream of a feast. She named all the foods she saw in that dream. When the kids went to school, I went shopping and when they came home there was a full table full of all the foods she mentioned, including a huge turkey. It was out of season so I was so happy I found one. She is 39 yes old now and still remembers being 7 yrs old with her dream. When we love our kids so much it’s super great that we can show them. Kids are a blessing from God and I always felt that.

We have three standard poodles at the moment, after losing our senior girl a couple years ago....they are absolutely amazing dogs! Our girls are family dogs and wonderful garden dogs, not the least bit fussy (which is what people tend to expect when I say we have poodles). The girls are intelligent, loving companions who were easily trained and are always willing to please. They are energetic, which we consider a plus, and they're also the perfect house pets. Needless to say, I'm all about poodles and I hope your family falls madly in love with Lulu!

You have taught your children an amazing lesson: "If you dream it, you can achieve it." Quite literally! It may take some time, tons of hard work, and help from others, but dreams come true! What a wonderful parent you are to surprise the family with Lulu! "She is finally home!" My heart melted!

Oh how beautiful. I too love fall colors. I'm 68 years old today so I'll always remember the day you guys got Lulu. Your drive home was stunning. It reminded me of the time Danielle and I drove home from one of her many eye surgeries and how I had to describe, fingerspelling into her hands, as to how amazingly beautiful God has given these heavenly colors for us to drive home with. Truth be known, I cried most of the way home knowing she would never ever see these colors again. The day she died I remember saying, "now you will be able to see the beautiful fall colors and your grandchildren with Jesus at your side." God bless this amazing animal farm. he he he

You have just made one of the best decisions of your life! At 71 and 73 we are on our third standard poodle. My belief is that they are the best dogs we have ever had. Anna (current poodle) is absolutely the smartest and communicative of the three. She communicates by looking at you, touching and pawing, kissing, and making guttural types of noises just like she is talking. Congratulations!

I'm teary for sure! One Christmas (I was about 7 or 8) I said "all I want for Christmas is a puppy". Christmas morning there was no puppy. I was so sad! My dad went into the basement and brought the pup up in his bathrobe pocket and the pup fit into his big hands. My siblings had been playing with the pup all night. EVERYBODY cried! He had a long fancy name and I called him Ralph. He was a poodle with the heart of a champion. I miss him to this day. I'm so glad you made Ben's dream come true. You won't regret it!

Lulu is absolutely precious. Our son fell in love with (don't judge🤣) a Chihuahua when he was 4. She already had an owner. He begged, nearly teary-eyed, for us to take HIS dog home. Nothing swayed his faith that he WOULD have her. Less than a month later, the owner called to ask if my husband wanted a free couch and love seat. He's the king of re-purposing the trash of others. (🙄) He asked Caleb is if he wanted to come "help" him load the furniture. They got back home with the couch, the loves seat, and four-year-old Midge. She never wanted for anything and we never had to do a single thing for her except pay her rare vet bills. She lived with us for 10 years! I won't go into the last heart-breaking moments with her but NONE of us will ever be the same. We're better folks for knowing her. God bless you and Lulu, and sweet Benjamin. Love her, fiercely.🐾🧡

My four girls had horses and although it was a chore I endured myself many a cold morning I loved them…..animals give unconditional love. We volunteered at a horse farm that had a program for children with disabilities……the thrill a child has when suddenly going from a wheelchair onto a special saddle and they can freely move about was the greatest gift of love.

Aww LouLou. The power in making your child's dreams come true. My husband stated just yesterday u do know we r feeding like 30 animals!?! Yes dear I do. Last WK we had 18 baby goats born. 15 survived and we had several sleepless nights and then went to work all day . As I hold a baby or watch 15 bouncing mut goats I think who cares what the feed bill is or that a pure registered breed would eat the same amount and bring more money . That can be a goal but the joy of watching them after a tough day as a nurse is priceless. To making Ben's dreams come true I say well done mama.
