I agree & disagree!! I say you take what's valuble/relatable from different sources, and implement it into your own Lifestyle/relationships. I don't think ANYONE'S relationship is a "goal", just an inspiration. What I don't like is all of the blogs(Black blogs/channels)speaking negative "curses" onto Tabitha's & Chance's decision to retire him. It just doesn't sit well, and it makes me feel distrustful towards the Black community. Because in our community we're programmed to be a monolith, no matter how many varieties we come in. And if we don't conform to the General perspective of the "group", then we're bullied & ostracized. That's the pathology within our community that concerns me, and triggers me as well. You know I've had many experiences where the man I was seeing, and one I was married to, did not appreciate the woman that I am and all I had to give. I had just about gave up on having a love of my own to pour into, love, and care for. Sometimes it gets hard to devote yourself when it's been misused so often. Then I found you on KZbin and came to see the adoration you proudly display for Chance. I remember saying "see it does still exist!"
