I have been watching your channel for SUCH A LONG TIME, for YEARSSSS actually, and I just wanted to say that through the increase of booktok/booktube, you have remained my favorite. You don’t just talk about the same basic handful of books that are most popular, yet, you talk about hidden gems. Books you love, because you genuinely picked them up on a whim, not because you saw all of booktok raving about it. Sometimes it can get annoying to see the same books reviewed, but you always find a way to make your videos unique, and your recommendations refreshing. I will continue to love your channel, Hailey!

Hana Kahn Carries On is such a beautiful read with so many important topics! I think it is also being adapted into a movie or tv show too. Uzma's other novel Ayesha at Last is also really good. Both set in Canada too! :) Highly recommend them! I enjoy reading other books with cultures other than mine and really enjoyed these two!

I loved four aunties and a wedding! The story is about the wedding of the main character. I liked the first one a little bit more but it was still a super fun read, I adore the aunties so much 😆 Btw Hailey can you please do a video about your favorite debut novels? 🥺 I've searched and I think you haven't done a video like that before but please let me know if you did! Thank you so much :)

The characters in The Roughest Draft definitely were not married. You said that when talking about the basic plot and that's not true. They were cowriters that stopped writing together for reasons that the book discusses but they weren't ever in a relationship or married.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bothered by the reminder, but I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with my life after you stop saying "both of my sisters are getting married this year"... I feel like there will be a void where that sentence used to be ; P
