Here’s Why Apple's New Glasses Will Change Everything

According to Apple, the design principle of Apple Glass is to bring all of the information from your phone to your face. They are specifically looking for Apple Glass to sync with an iPhone and show things like texts, emails, maps, and games across the user's field of view. And they want it all to work within the Apple environment. They are already connected to other Apple devices.
Apple also intends to enable third-party apps and is exploring the creation of a separate app store. In the same way, you can acquire apps for the Apple TV and Apple Watch. But as we learn more about the technology underlying the Apple Glass, it becomes more interesting. One such aspect of the Apple Glass is what is known as optical sub-assembly. According to a patent submitted by Apple, they want to employ apple glass as an in-headset vision correction device, eliminating the need for the wearer to wear prescription glasses beneath their apple.

A lot of the features here are awesome, but battery life needs to be extended. The main problem with making the device auto adjust to user vision is once the battery is dead the user is blind. I would much rather just have them come with prescription that way when its deas you dont need to switch glasses and by not requiring the glasses to constantly be running correction software you would allow it to save battery power or use the processing for other task.

Leaving both options sounds nice. I think the one with auto correct user vision would probably be more expensive. They both would have their pros and cons. Since the cheaper option, the one with prescription glasses, would mean you might have to change glasses in 3 years, as compared to the auto adjust, which may last longer depending on your eyesight deteoriation. And now I wonder if using the AR glasses will actively make your eyesight deteoriate faster, because doesnt it mean yr staring at LED even more as compared to anything?

I've never owned any apple devices but these AR glasses and the vision pro are really making me reconsider apple... The pass through, eye and hand tracking, vision correction on these devices are cutting edge, and a turn by turn hud display for GPS navigation keeps wires on the road, nothing more annoying then having to take your eyes off the road to look at the maps application to ensure you don't miss a coming lane change. Although applications and games might be limited currently its only the early stages but shows strong promise.

So I thought of a new design that will be bulky yet have the same standard length where the peripheral vision of the glasses are located that little blind spot area, by giving it a twist 90° Degrees to be exact which can be space that can be utilized for storing battery 🔋 extentions so that the glasses can be worn longer throughout the day without them dying or the energy running out... It might sound weird or abnormal but it actually won't be as the camera lenses actually extend further on each end from the front end on either side. So instead of blocking the vision of users with a vertical drop it will instead be a horizontal extention, to allow the users to see without the glasses blocking their vision. And with 3D Printers this is a very simple tweak and fix, which can also introduce other optional extentions like a glasses LED light for people who need it while working or for emergency cases or just because they want it for walking at night, walking their dog, or hiking, etc... As it will have a horizontal extention to pack more battery life, that area above and below can be used for many creative reasons and or ideas. Maybe even small backup batteries can be placed there throughout the day as the glasses start to power down, wirelessly or with a connection of some sort obviously. That way going without a full charge is never or will never be an issue. #Apple #AppleGlasses #AppleInc I own a "PoGo Cam" an attachment that easily and effectively attaches to a vast majority of glasses that allows users to take or snap images and record 30 - 1 minutes videos by simply clicking 2 optional buttons one for photos and the other for recording footage; it attaches with a magnet 🧲 (A magnesium magnet to be specific) and the other attachment end has a silver piece of metal that attracts to the magnet. So something along these lines for the glasses would be plausible, all not having to remove the glasses whatsoever as the user(s) will have precharged mini backup batteries ready for whenever they need them or require them throughout the day or night depending if they work day shift or night shift and not because a bunch of twacked out tweakers will be wearing them; all at the same time integrating "Sentry Mode" to each and every one of them for A.i. Technology and for Crime Prevention and Crime Solving, etc.

It won't change everything in the way you think though. Today, the most annoying thing is people walking around with Apple AirPods hanging from their ears looking like that scene from "There's Something About Mary" and you never know if they are listening to you or not, even in the office, they walk around like they don't look like a douche. Next they will get these Apple Glasses and when you think they are actually paying attention to you they will actually be texting, posting their latest POV Livestream to TikTok, whatever. So yeah, they will change the world but not for the better. They'll just make Apple fans that much more annoying.

It will be like the first iphone, it was so special when the first iphone came out. And in 2025 the apple glasses come. That will also be special.

@@jonathancurtis6522 true and remember when the first iphone came out? It was the first touchscreen phone and it was so special. Now its funny that it was so special because almost everyone has it. And i believe AR glasses & contact lenses will be the normal thing after 2030. We would say around the 2030s “remember the first apple glasses, it was so funny that it was so special” 😂
