I still believe til this day that Kaido & Big Mom had to be """defeated""", otherwise the story would never go on, that's how strong they were. They had to give the Strawhats and others a huge power up to remotely compete with them. I don't think they have deserved the wins over them, even less Law & Kid, but it had to end like this. 7:20 Lifting Onigashima using his flame clouds have more to do with concentration than physical strength. You can see this when Momo did the same, momentarily... unless, you think Momo can benchpress an entire island too. When I said "concentration", I mean it has more to do with the amount of focus it takes to keep the island afloat. Think of it like this, Kaido holding a glass of water is easy work as it doesn't require physical strength. But the amount of focus to keep the glass from spilling and breaking while he fights off people is very difficult and distracting. I believe that's what he's doing with the island.

5:20 Kaido downplayers like to exaggerate Luffy's win vs Kaido as a "fair" 1v1 because of his "death" before turning Gear 5. "If Kaido's exhausted, Luffy's in a much worse condition" is a popular argument. I can debunk that argument. Sure, Luffy "died". But he came back to life much stronger due to a "divine transformation". Meaning, that his fruit FULLY healed him and made him stronger. "But Kaido said Luffy was at death's door". This comment was disproven later once we see that even at full strength vs Lucci, Gear 5 will always drain Luffy of all his strength after a short time of usage. Turning him temporarily old DESPITE using only a tiny amount of his power vs Lucci. Even a "fresh" Luffy will be at death's door once he uses Gear 5. This revival isn't something you see occasionally in hospitals where patients retain any damages from whatever almost killed you. In Luffy's case, crushed bones and organs, internal bleeding, anything else caused by blunt force trauma. Meaning that normally, even if Luffy was revived he'll be catatonic from his injuries. Instead, he got the "Jesus Christ-style" of revival. Complete with divine superpowers. So, YES! Luffy's fruit FULLY healed him.

4:55 You forgot to point out that Guernica's interference only hastened Luffy's inevitable loss. Luffy was not only ONE hit away from losing, he was already panting a LOT and is CONSTANTLY complaining about using his "last" Gear 4. And Kaido most likely haven't used more than 50% his strength yet. Remember, Kaido only decided to go all out vs Gear 5 via the Flaming Bagua. A technique he NEVER used vs ACoC Gear 4 Luffy.
