Yar US and Europe and India all have their pros and cons... But for people moving out was not always happiness. It was based on monetary concerns and financial stability. If money is good in India then it's ok else it's better to move out for 10 years save money and come back if you don't like it.

Hey Gabblin,i think i can offer you some advice. I have lived for 4 years in Seattle,USA but shifted back to India in 2019. If pollution is the barrier for you, I suggest shifting to places like Chandigarh,Bangalore,New town Kolkata,Chennai. Also currently the indian startup culture is booming and you can take great advantage of that. On Dec 2016,when I was in Times Square,NY(which is a very famous landmark)gun violence happened which scared the hell out of me.I found a lot of challenges living in US.I personally beleive that if you are well settled in india where you earn well,there is less pollution and good safety etc ,it is foolish to leave India.

Although I had been to London and there is no matche with that. Truth is you always are treated as second class citizen because internally locals know why you left your motherland at first place. @@5123karan but somewhere we are also responsible for these issues like corruption and sanitation. In metro cities everyone is busy in just making money. That kind of people they go anywhere in the world they will only create mess.

@@SuperVishalchhabra Nobody in the world takes responsibility. I have seen Brits creating mess and garbage on the streets of London. It's the government's and administration's responsibility to enforce laws and maintain cleanliness. Slowly people get used to it and then behavioural change happens. I strongly disagree when people feel it's our responsibility. No it's the government's first as they have collected tax for that. They have power and resources to do the work.

You get best life if you invest money earned in US/UK in India and move back to India. For your children also if you have good investment in India life is better in India for your children. If you continue living in west, get settled and your children also grown up there and finished college in west and you all living in west, your life is boring/lonely after 50 or 55 years. The attachement your children have with you is not like India. Most people do not research about about or third generation indian before taking decision to grow their children from new born to adult in west. Life is good in west but you coming generation will have issues related to underconfidecne, lonely, loosing religious identity, fear of minority. You will not see this on surface level in second or third generation but once if they open about only than they share these things. Also fertility rate of Indian in western countries is 1.5 so there population in western population share is either stable or declining. The population increasing because of migration from India. This means Indian will continue to be very tiny minority in most western countries if in future migration from India decline. Indians are very different from other minority group in west. Pakistani, bangladeshi and middle eastern group mostly follow thier tradition in second or third generation also so it is easy for them to move back or move to other muslim countries in middle east. Most Indian ignore this they try to follow western way so they also face west problem of old age, less attachment with child and living lonely life. The children are western in culture but their acceptance is less by europeans. West is good for giving boost to your income and you can work for 15 to 20 years if you came after colloge, your children will be 5 to 10 years old by this time. Try to make good investment in India and move back to India. Your children or future generation will have better family, marriage and peace of mind in India compare to west. In west they may have good career, more money but less stable family life, loneliness and fear which a miniority faces. Many people who have moved to west are finding their friend who started a small trading business or other small business are earning similar or better than them in India and enjoying very good stable family life compare to their friends in west.

Thank you for your opinion, Naqsh! How rich you get is also not completely a function of where you live, but more a function of how much value you create for the society. Things are nuanced. Nah bro. US is not for me. The sole reason I would move out of India are the internal issues where citizens are dumb enough to divide India, blame others, the double standards towards muslims, etc. I am just sick of this shit. The reason I don't like US is simply because they have their own internal issues like gun violence, extreme racism, very very expensive, etc. Obviously If my reasoning for moving out of India is internal issues then I would never move to a country which also has its own internal issues ( which worsens for immigrants ).

@Varun could you be anymore wrong. Different people work in different ways and hence different things work for them for eg someone who does not like meeting relatives or is not a social butterfly, can handle racist remarks would do better abroad but for someone stayinf away from family and friends for a long time is difficult who is emotionally vulnerable would rather be happier in india Second things is money as u said material possessions , if I can't get a job in india with a good package life would be bad for me here as well as abroad but atleast I'll have more money abroad so going abroad is a better option for me but if I have a good job here and I need social security as well then going abroad would be futile for me. So it's about individual preferences and how u perceive happiness and what is higher on your priority list. Happiness to each is their own so there is no fixed place where u would be happy, there are just places which would be more aligned with your perception of happiness and that is the place for you it can be india and it can be abroad too.

@Varun u just sounded like those people that u were addressing ie the ones that find flaws in other countries. Likewise u are finding flaws in india . So basically u missed the whole point of the video . He covered both kinds of people u just had to figure out which one u are and u are among those people who would be happier abroad but u just ruled out the possibility of people being happier here let's be more mature and considerate here. Right And as regards your last para , it's such a stupid and uninformed statement to make . Have you ever read about PPP if not, please do.

Not necessarily true sir. I have come back after having completed my CPA because I couldnt deal with the racism and didn't want to live under fear cause of the gun laws. Likewise my cousin came back from canada because he could not manage household work by himself whereas my best friend is still in Boston along with a few of our batchmates . They complete their MBA from Bapson college and are living happily there since 3 years so it's a very personal choice the number of people who come back after going abroad is very small and I agree with that because people who go abroad in the first place are the ones who think they can have a better life there but your statement is so wrong.

Yes, and there’s nothing wrong about living outside India. In fact, living abroad can help you expand your horizons and make you a more open individual, but happiness is more nuanced and generally an internal affair. We need to become peaceful ourselves first! Cheers!

@esumitkumar 2 жыл бұрын
@@ayushiraj9535 .As far as I see .. Pros of UK 1 . 9 am to 5 pm work culture..after that no calls ..couldnt think of this in India.. 2. Good practical study for kids 3. Weather in summers (natural beauty all around) 4. Closeness to Europe (can visit and explore various countries) .. Cons of UK 1. Missing home and parents even though whatsapp video call daily .. In festivals this feeling grows ..even though you join local indian groups ..still that artificial feeling 2. Costly flights to India if not planning in advance 3. Depressive gloomy weather in winters ..always hibernating in winters..when sunshine will come ? 4. Street food is nothing compared to India ..even though UK has Southall, Wembley, East Ham, Leicester etc 5. Although Brits are nice, but they wont let you come in their inner circle 6. Hard to make friends in School (my daughter is in Year 7) 7. Absence of maid (domestic help)- Have to do all cleaning, grass cutting , everything yourself :( ..No comfort like India ....This is really tough when you are coming from work ... In summary I think ..mind is always divided in two parts whether to stay here or move back !

When you have to fight any court case in India be it divorce case, real estate litigation cases etc then you will know why India sucks. Only people who are fine with India’s “small” problems are the ones who never had to go to court for any issues. Just stand outside any court to understand how ridiculous the system is. And I am not even talking about criminal cases but just civil cases itself
