Looking forward to mod videos with this RS7 ! Mike FYI "coming from someone who has owned a combined 32 Audi/VW and Porsche vehicles", the Audis and VWs especially are extremely sensitive to the even slightest of voltage changes. The engine light, even light out light indicator on the dash could come on "light out for example if one day was extremely warm and dry and the very next day cold, wet and rainy" could show a bulb out light, you can tap "give a little bump" to the light fixture and the light that was out comes back on, lol. Same for engine monitoring sensors. If you get a minor one, clear it and drive it 20 miles, see if it comes back, many cases it will not. More serious codes obviously get it to service. Seriously Audi, especially VWs engine lights come on easily due to the extreme monitoring of everything and the extremely tight voltage allowable range "to tell the sensors everything is okay".

Welcome to the world of Audi fella. When things go bad with these cars they go really bad. I strongly suggest you get yourself Vag Com as a scanner. You will be able to do a lot of things with it and their are so many codes to make the car run much better. Try and sell this car before you get the dreaded chain rattle on start up. Normally the chain guides go bad and the chain tensioner will give up on you. Audi will say it’s an engine out job and will cost you more than the car but a good independent mechanic will be able to do it with the engine in place. Also…..that bloody front camera above the rear view mirror. It will go bad eventually and you won’t even be able to drive the car. Audi Quoted 4000€ for a new camera but managed to get one for 80€ from a crashed A7. Didn’t even need coding. Luckily you have the tip tronic and not the s tronic in the RS7. Man the s tronic is terrible in the A7. Hope this helps
