Sold my V4S in less than 4 months due to the extreme heat coming up from engine, it cooks you alive on a warm day of riding but it does look great. Never liked the way engine sounds compared to the music coming from Aprilia v4 and Yamaha cross plane, but again it does look good!

It does throw heat at your inner thigh! I find that even on warm days you're advised to wear thicker pants as protection from the radiated heat. I am very curios to see what will happen in our San Diego summer.

Wrong re: the throttle spacers. Track bikes/race bikes have a little dead spaces so that an unintentional small throttle position change doesn't disrupt the bike. It might feel good on the street to take up that slack but on the track it makes the throttle too sensitive. Ducati has also gone away from making the frame such a stressed member of the bike. That was one of the downfalls of the Panigale V2. It was too stiff. The V4 frame is more like a conventional alu perimeter frame like most modern bikes. It wraps around the cylinder heads to take the stress. Also, the rear subframe top bolts to the frame instead of the engine, which is different than the V2.

my 2017 gsxr 750 and 2017 zx10r came with 90 degree valve stems too, pretty standard stuff for any race bike these days, curiously enough my 2018 zx14r doesn't have them sadly :(

All Ducatis from the early 1970s 750 Sport/GT on have engines as stressed members - not a big deal. A Panigale V4S is a race bike with lights, hence many of the unique features.
