What is astonishing to me is not only this man’s knowledge of the watches he presents, but of the incredibly detailed information during these presentations. This must require quite a bit of research for each video, and the channel keeps them coming on a regular basis. Bravo!

0:24 Equation of time, perpetual calendars, minute repeaters, gyrotourbillon, astonish finish techniques...Obviously, the use of red paint in watchmaking is a technique that no brand has completely mastered, regardless of its prestige or price. There is a causal relation within a lot of people between interest in astronomy and mechanical timepieces in general and some in special that are capable of showing the context. I enjoyed this review very much though the watch itself came a little short.

An excellent piece of micro engineering, worthy of the price being asked. Watches like these are exceptional pieces of mechanical art, and clearly the movement for this watch must have taken ages to research and eventually manufacture. This is one hell of a complication which explains the cost along with the manual construction. This isn’t your average mechanical timepiece, this is something very special. 🙏❤️

@BackdriftNightfall Citizen solar quartz, 2600 gbp... Not hand painted or fully handmade. Patek philippe, fully hand made and hand painted, every detail, the movement is hand engraved and every corner is hand polished. Comparing that citizen to a patek philippe is really stupid and funny at the same time. I honsetly think the patek has much better value because of that citizen movement.. lmao

Beautiful watch, but that kind of paint job on that moon would be considered unacceptable on even a $100 watch. And the worst part is I noticed it before the close up on the moon. It would continue to annoy and haunt the owner of this watch.

I’m a novice when it comes to watch collecting and horology. On top of that I’m locked in to a very strict and fixed income. It doesn’t allow me the opportunity to indulge in what can be a very expensive hobby. I know most of my dream watches are just as out of reach as this, even those at a fraction of the value. This is a beautiful timepiece and would love the chance to own one even just for a few days. Thanks for another video of an absolute beautiful work of art. Best wishes.

Uhhh dont really get why it costs 220k versus say the cost for a nautilus steel of 70k. It simply looks like a static disc rotating at some predetermined rate.
