It's the best vehicle if you are going underground. You just know you can rely on it . We got a V8 that gets driven up to 50km underground every day. Hell of an LV.

Same exact thing with my '87 Isuzu Trooper. Slow, spacious, and meant to tackle the dirt roads that no modern sedan would dare to get near. Hopefully I'll own one of the 70 series someday, I've had a growing interest for 80's-90's Japanese SUVs. Awesome car, great video!

Here in Canada we had this exact 2 door LC sold here, though I believe it was only available for a couple of years in the 80s/90s before being discontinued, but still it was a relatively reliable vehicle and tough on durability

i have the same but its a 2.4 diesel N/A with no turbo and 4 speed transmission. i was wondering the history behind it. my dad bought it straight from japan in 1990. and i love to drive it daily even though its slow, it rides through mud and twisty forestry terrains like go-kart.

I just picked up a 1994 KZJ71 with the 1KZTE engine. What websites or suppliers do you use for parts ? Does the KZJ78 suspension/parts fit the KZJ71? Best regards 🤘🏻

Yes suspension parts afit, how ever I'm pretty sure your engine is the 1KZ-T....its basically the same as the TE but it has a manual fuel pump and not an electronic pump

It's actually slow because its diesel engine. We have petrol version in mideast and it accelerate very fast.
