Other than Mazda mx3 and Nissan nx100, Doug can also try to get his hands on cars like Toyota WiLL and Toyota Paseo. Toyota iQ. But what's more important is for Doug to look at what other car manufacturers were offering in the 1990 especially the American brands. Let's not forget in 1990 among other great cars Toyota produced were the 1st model Previa/Estima minivan, the first generation of Lexus LS400 and also the world rally champion Celica GT4. Again, we have to look at what other cars sold during that time to realise how advanced and special these cars were. Other Toyota models that Doug maybe never saw include Toyota Corolla Levin of the 1990s which had a combo of supercharged engine with 4 throttle bodies, 5 valves per cylinder and 6 speed manual transmission and Toyota Caldina GT4. For a start, Doug can google or watch videos in KZbin.

The SLSS system also incorporates an amplifier with a central channel, plus a Digital Sound Processor (DSP) which has three modes - off, Casual mode and Funky Mode. These different modes provide a slight differences in the sound qualities, and also the rear deck speaker rotates from reflecting the sound from the rear hatch glass incasual mode to pointing directly towards the passenger when in funky mode. The DSP modes are controlled by a "WARP" button on the head unit. The CD has random, scan and repeat modes, the radio has 6 presets on both FM and AM bands and the cassette mechanism has Dolby and track search facilities When the car was new you could purchase the SLSS system with either a single height CD / Radio or a dual height CD / Radio / Cassette.

The SLSS came with a three mode Digital Sound Processor (DSP) which cycled through 'off', 'Casual' or 'Funky' mode by use of a button labelled "WARP" on the CD/Radio or CD/Radio/Cassette head unit. These produced slight differences in sound quality through preset values for settings such as bass and treble, as well as rotating the speakers in the rear unit to either project directly into the car or bounce off the rear window. A complete and functional SLSS is one of the most highly sought after options by Toyota Sera enthusiasts, but by being factory fit is quite hard to retro-fit. Hey Doug this car was called the Sera Live Sound for a reason. Toyota designed it that way for the acoustic experience. It wasn't meant to be a hot hatch. It also wasn't associated with the MR2. It was built on the Cynos, Corsa and Starlet chassis. In America that chassis was used in the Toyota Tercel and Paseo. So mechanically, they have the same parts. The Starlet Gt engine can also be swapped into it or the engine internals (I think it's the pistons) and turbo system.

Maybe him finally using passenger side to get into them has to do something with it. He is always going from left side so all so only in rhd car he will get in correctly....and usually passebger side has special levers for access and driver seats dont...so ots stupid for him to keep using driver side. Especially with toyotas. All of the have special two dual purpose latches one for people to get out and one on the side which foldes and moved the seat at once
