Hey Kevin! That thing on the tree is a burr. It happens when a branch breaks off or cut the tree heals itself and builds up that area to protect the area!😉 People look for them to cut out to make wooden bowls out of them .

For those wondering about the tree with the growth. A burl (American English) or burr (British English) is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds.

Its a nice truck, BUT the question is, Any spare parts? A lot of those Banggood rc deals become a dead end of spare parts and next thing, the truck becomes paper weight at the first breakage.

Got my FTX Outback Fury (same as RGT crawler) to nearly that spec now...but the 20T motor is too snappy (thats what they come with stock) swapping to a budget 35T transformed mine's crawling ability!

What temperatures do you let your rtr trucks get to? I am having heat issues with a 6-cell nimh! After running my new rustler 4x4 vxl for only like 5 minutes of driving not even that hard. And 2 minutes of 3- cell and it is almost overheating.

You're doing something wrong if you dont like the trx4 shocks because in the crawling game they are probably the best stock shocks from any company. People buy the trx4 shocks for their axials and other crawlers because they are so good.
