Beautiful layout!! Here’s my tip for you - if you haven’t already invested in one, invest in a Tombow Mono Sand Eraser. Most of the time you can use those to get rid of things like ink from places they decide to invade unwelcomed!!

What an adorable photo and beautiful layout. In my part of Canada, it would very unusual to see uniforms in elementary school but they are common in later grades. I made albums of school years for my adult children and the school themed collections worked really well for the earlier grades. I happened to have a non-primary colored school collection in my stash (an older Photoplay collection I believe) which I supplemented with generic products for the later years. I agree that the typical school collections are very limiting. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Jeannine

Hey Jeannine! Thank you, glad you enjoyed this one. It is extremely common for schools to have uniforms all the way until Year 12 (the final year of school) - I like it, it saves so much worry about what to wear to school. I'm lucky too that my daughters school colours are lovely!

Hi Gwen. I love how you worked through this. The very same thing happened to me the other day, and I ruined the patterned paper by trying to rub it off with a baby wipe. I ended up using Pinkfresh gems in a cluster to cover it. I’m glad that you found an easy fix for it. It looks lovely! Thank you for sharing. 😊

Hey Rhonda... I surely do. All of the designs will work in the software, the issue you'll have is the 'rectangle' format of the joy. With the bigger machines you can use anything, with the joy you need to find designs that are more rectangle in shape, such as titles or those featured here: createdbygwen.com.au/product-category/travelers-notebook/ These ones are all made for Travellers Notebooks, so they would be perfect for the Joy.

Gorgeous. Agree on the school collections they are often in bright tones. My daughter starts school next year and her uniform will be navy blue and a jade green. Not sure how easy that will be to find a collection but I'll start searching. 🩷
