You sound dumb. You realize it wasn't the diff. It was the coupling mechanism that's there to disconnect the front axle to save fuel. They break all the time on chevys. It's not in the diff. It's a shaft that bolts on to the passenger side. They can be changed fairly easily.

Bought the Sport, and 3 months later bought the full-size. Now we have both. Nothing but good things to say about the sport: fun to drive around town and I've put it in some interesting offroad situations and it has excelled. We get more comments on the robin's egg sport in a day than we do on the cactus big bronco in a month. If we had to keep one, it would be the sport. The big Bronco is a big fun toy - love everything about it. Non-sasquatch Black Diamond with the soft top was everything I needed and it was under 50k.

Great to see someone showing the little Sport some love. I bought the first badlands model in my region in December of 2020 as a downsize from my 13 Flex (which was an awesome vehicle). I’ve had no mechanical issues and total reliability since. I even dropped it in a 2 ft hole while on a trail and it walked out with just a tear in the front bumper. It has 78,000 kms on the clock now. I’m 6’1, 250 and yes the seats are a little narrow but I find them more comfortable than the bigger seats in my flex. Cheers guys.

i went from the jeep JL to the bronco badlands. stock for stock the bronco doesn't flex quite as much BUT... what it lacks in flex it makes up for in everything else comfort wise. not only can i got 80 down the highway without swerving all over from a solid axle tracking like a hammered dog turd, i can offroad everything i've asked it to with just minimal intervention from a rear locker if the tire floats too much. I'm extremely happy with the move I made! I've also just jumped up to a BDS suspension so my flex should be notably better this coming summer's wheeling season.

Nathan, I have a 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands that I striped up Freewheelin' style. Last April I stopped by the ranch on our way to Alaska to run the obstacle course. After that we went to Moab for a week of off-roading. The only limiting factor is ground clearance, not traction. I only had to lock the rear diff a few times, and it did the job flawlessly. Yes, I wish it towed more, but our travel trailer is under 2,000lbs so it works for us. I had considered a full size but at the time I was in the market it was still about a 2 year wait if ordered and dealers were still charging a "market adjustment of 10 to 30 k on in-stock ones. I was lucky to find mine with the equipment and color I wanted a little below sticker.

I love my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk for a lot of the same reasons you like the Bronco Sport. Good on-road, decent off-road, niceties like heated wheel and seats. I wish my Trailhawk had that camera system! It always feels slightly sketchy going up steep inclines where all you see is sky instead of where the trail is going. Mine has the mysky roof option with the removable panels and I have added Wildpeak A/T Trails in 225/65/17 going ever so slightly bigger than stock.

I agree with what you said about the screen size. People are obsessed with screens even though you use it maybe twice when you’re in the car. CarPlay doesn’t get much better when your screen is 14 inches. Also I agree about the light flooding the cabin. I have a 4Runner 2022 and I wish you could turn down the brightness just a bit more or even turn it off if need be
@watchreport
@watchreport 4 ай бұрын
I don't know about this sync 3 system but in the sync 4 you can turn down the brightness and you can turn the whole screen off if you choose. Mine also will adjust the brightness depending on the light in the cabin and it has night mode as well, which turns it all darker colors etc so it's not lighting the hell out of the cabin.

I have a 21 Badlands that i absolutely love. She'll get through 90% of the trails here in Michigan and its easy to drive. I think the 8" screen is a good size. I've driven some newer F-150's with the huge 14" one and its way to distracting and cumbersome. I will say though that the Heritage limited is crazy overpriced. You can get the performance without all the goodies. The only option on my Badlands is the trailer hitch (which i use to put bikes on) and it was around 35K.

Bought a Sport after my previous car died and I did a lot of research and very happy with the result. The Bronco Sport is much larger than my old car and has way more space, more than I need for long trips. The build in GPS is a god send since my previous car was from before those were standard, it gets more miles as well and just looks super cool. Plus with drive assist makes it way safer. I just bought mine about a month ago and I love it! It's the 1.5L Heritage version in Cactus Gray and it is perfect for me. This is the first time I was able to buy a vehicle that I really wanted and not just because it was all I could afford. I test drove the Outerbanks version and while I did like the extra bells and whistles, I loved the red Bronco lettering in the front and the white roof and wheels. Both trims had the same engines so I just chose the one that aesthetically worked for me. It was about 1k cheaper too lol. So far I have loved it and I'm paying less than $100 more for this one than I paid for my old car. Btw, I named her Savannah lol.

My wife loves her little heratige. Its only the 1.5, and compared to my truck.... I mean there really isn't a comparison the capalities between a Bronco Sport and a Duramax when you live in the country. But in all honesty, for being a grocery getter, picking up the kids from school, taking it into town, and like shown in the video, very moderate "off road" use like taking it to the pond, down non-graveled trails, to go fishing it does well. My wife is 5'3" and loves how easy it is to throw a kyak on top. A little slow, sure, but overall, a great little car, with a good feature set of creature comforts, and a killer price compared to the rest of the market.

The only thing that I could complain about it, to echo Nathan, the backseat space and even the front, was small, and as a fat person, I needed to size up. I totally agree. I had a full size as well as a heritage limited currently but with the peak blue which is the darker blue color and while they were both wonderful I would say for 90% of people unless you need to do serious off-roading and you need that ground clearance. The broncos sport will do it. Now. What I recommend is don't get the three cylinder. All you need is the Badlands base model. No options. It's still comes with power. Pretty much everything. You just don't get leather. The wireless phone charger is a piece of crap anyways and it'll take most people just about anywhere they want to go and I have averaged 26 mph with doing probably 70% highway driving and the engine is just so torqy for a little car. It's effortless to drive and it really does do everything well except like he said it doesn't tow much and the back seat is made for people without legs. The only things I wish it had was 360 camera and air conditioning seats Also when you get the Badlands with the 2 l and the extra off-road stuff everything that comes on it has already been proven in other cars for years. The two leaders been around since 2013. The only issue it really had was the wastegay linkage on the turbo which has been fixed. The transmission has been used since 2017. I believe the trick rear differential was used in the focus. RS. All-wheel drive system has been used for over a decade. The frame is still the escape frame it's been used for like over in a decade just slightly modified. I just hit 20,000 my heritage limited and have had zero issues knock on wood. And they have increased the capacity of the PTU and on some models added a cooler which it desperately needed. Those PTUs were failing on those all-wheel drive systems in the early ones because they didn't have enough fluid and they would overheat really easy and coke up and Ford was saying only change him like every 50 or 60 thousand miles I think which was not enough. I do mine every 30

No… we hate it because shill videos like this try to convince you this isn’t just an escape. This is an awful choice when the RAV4, CRV, and Forrester exist.

My wife and I traded in her bronco sport for an explorer timberline the week our son was born. This vehicle is not great if you need larger car seats. We've had the explorer for almost 2 years and the only thing i miss from the bronco sport is the payment, lol. our bronco was 30k and our explorer was 42k.

Looking online the Heritage only comes with the 1.5 three cylinder. Personally I would choose the Badlands version. Locally they are offering discounts on these models.

@@CraigSmith568 gotcha! The regular Heritage is the 1.5 three cylinder. But Heritage Limited has the 2.0. I’m guessing it’s no longer available if it’s not on the website! They both were relatively low production numbers.

I wish they would have named it something else. I just got mine in Badlands and 1000 miles so far. I really like it and coming from an Explorer ST it’s different. The 8 inch screen is perfect and enough. It’s a perfect lifestyle vehicle, for those living in cities but like to get to a camp site or a hunting spot.

It's what the 2nd gen ford escape was supposed to be. If the old escape had the locker and selectable 4wd it would be perfect. Ford really knew what worked and copied onto this.

There are 2 reasonably priced Ford models available with a standard transmission. The better choices at Ford are the Mustang 6 speed or the Bronco 7 speed. Either one of those would be an excellent choice.

So, I have a 2020 Ford Escape S AWD and my baby cousin had a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands, and she swore that everytime she drove it, she'd hear a rattling from the back. The Straight Pipes, Jakub, stated the same thing when they test drove the Bronco Sport Heritage Edition. I've never heard anything like that in my Escape, and it's pretty much the same platform--any other Bronco Sport owners hearing a weird rattling noise when they're driving?

For 90% of the public, this is all you need. The RAV4 is the best option. Fuel economy is very important if you drive 50 miles a day. Maverick, might be better. Put a 1-2inch lift on the Bronco or Maverick, nothing bigger than 33inch tires. 31s should be fine.
