"Here We Are" - Meet Gio and his family

Meet Gio, a 38-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran and community advocate. He’s also a brother, an athlete, and an avid sneaker geek: ”We should all be able to live authentically and free from fear. Being transgender is just one part of who I am, and I want people to understand that we are so much more than this. We are family members, veterans, athletes, and friends.”
More than 70% of Americans believe that they have never met someone who is transgender. In collaboration with GROUND Media, “Here We Are” helps create connections between and among communities who otherwise may never meet, increasing trans acceptance and support through impactful storytelling.
