I think this is the greatest family group. Glory to God. Thank you Jesus for ordaining them to play gospel music to glorify you Lord.

This was one of the two songs my great-great grandfather ever sang. His name was Gordon Chesley Irvin and he was 6’7” and worked on the railroad!

My dad (Wheelchair Dobro) and Joe spent many hours laughing, picking and sharing the gospel. Joe always shared his latest work with dad and the family was always so kind. My father had nothing but respect for these people.

I was able to see them in concert in 92 in Gastonia NC. I think the Greene's and the Hopper's were there as well. I was a very young Christian and all these songs drew me closer to God.

@@tinahorn5355 years ago. Everyone makes mistakes.. He's not to be unforgiven especially after 20 years, but people seem to always bring it up. I know it's not what the Lord wants. If He can forget a sin we should, right?

If you go back to the older interviews. Lily left him to be with her children. She stated that "they could reach a broader audience" and she pursued a career with them. Also Joe confirmed that she left to be with her children.
