I could only imagine how hard the injury has been mentally. Good luck going forward. I can’t wait for you to recover sometime soon. It’ll be historic on football KZbin when you sign that pro contract

Sheldon I am 8 months post ACL and lateral meniscus surgery and I think I can relate to the pain you are feeling. I had to get another minor surgery to fix the clicking and pain in my knee, but I stilt felt it after the second surgery. I still feel the clicking but the pain is much better than it was. 6 weeks ago it started to hurt bad asf suddenly after doing heavier exercises and jumping. Just reduce the training for a bit and really warm up well and after time the pain will fade. It’s incredibly frustrating I know, but just trust the process and you will end up exactly where u need to be. I have been subscribed since 1k subs in the start of your 365 day challenge. Wish u the best of luck and a speedy recovery. Message me if you have any questions I will be more than happy to help.

After I tore my meniscus they told me I had something can’t remember the name sorry but my meniscus was a little over grown and bulky and when it tore and it would flap out and it would get stuck and I would need to extend it so I could get full mobility but I had to pop it hard to be able to. Walking normally it would just give out and lock in and I would have to stretch it and pop it. They cut down my meniscus to normal size and so I still had enough for the future. This is a condition I guess you are just born with and are more prone to injury cause of it. Thats what my doctor told me about my specific case. Sounds a bit similar. Hope all goes good to everyone ! Stay safe and patience! Could always always be worse. Ask as many questions to your physio and surgeon nothing wrong with worrying about your health !

I tore my meniscus as well!! When I returned to do workouts and other activities like even walking the exact same rocking chair clicks would always be there unsure of why my knee sounded like that I went to my surgeon. When I went to my surgeon and they said I had torn my meniscus again but he said there was a 70% chance it would heal over time and luckily it did, the rocking chair clicking went away in like a month with constant bike and Pool work . The cracking at the end of the video you experienced still remains till this day for me but it happens rarely.

Interesting story mate when you got that rocking chair sound, did it give you extreme pain?

Going to the gym feels like a sort of meditation. It’s a place where you are there to improve yourself physically, but also mentally imo. Sheldon I hope you figure out what’s going on with the knee & you have a successful recovery! I’ve been watching your content for about 2 years & I finally decided to start showing what it is that I do in the football space! Seeing your content helped inspire me to start. I uploaded my first KZbin video, would appreciate it if you check it out!!

hey check out acupuncture its done best by the Chinese. maybe it could work for you. had something similar where I didn't know exactly where the pain was coming from in my knee and after 10 sessions and about 2 months of rest like no activity, I haven't had any problem for about 1.5 years.

Yeh i got same clicking sound in my ankle, but its the ligament that tore that keeps slipping over the bone. Tonnes of physio exercises and 5km runs have made my clicking reduce and stronger :)

I relate to this so freakin much. Brother I recovered from this in 2018. I know how serious this is. I also emailed Matt telling him about my injury to when he had his groin. It took me about 1 year 4 months to come to match intensity. If you want, I am more than happy to tell you bout my injury and rehab process (and of course behind the scenes: mentally and physically) on a call. Nevertheless, just never give up bro. I cried at nights thinking I'd have to quit playing... please do not give up. I completely felt that I was done with football but I am so glad I did not give up. This will pass and you will come out stronger.Trust me. Best Wishes!
