Fuk! I've always knows there HAD to be some skip in that balcony part of the first stage, but neve managed to think of backflipping form that specific wall. I tried reaching that ledge SO MANY times as a kid, in a Demo version of the game, out of a CD I borrowed from my cousings (it skiped directly from first stage to the dinosaur valley, and ended right before the two guards battle. So much fun, even though I hated those pterodactyls). Congratulations on the run!

Yes, I did skip the final boss. Whether that would void a run or not comes down to what category is being run. This is an 'Any%' speedrun, so it does count. If this were a 'Glitchless' run, it would not.
