I think utilizing the services of a professional translator alongside Shrimati Popere ji to translate each of her statements into Hindi and English would have helped promote this valuable heritage preserving concept.

She is known as 'seed mother of India' for native seed conservation . She got several awards including Padmashree . She also got in the list of "100 most influential and inspiring Women" in 2018. She is illiterate but very brave , that while addressing in 'Women's Science Congress' , she told that she asked PM MODI to visit her village and see the farmers problem of water crisis in Maharashtra .. Then the authorities there told her to cut short her speech . Sad part is later PM MODI did not . Later her press conference in university was also canceled , because of this . Moral of the story : no matter how better u do for ur country by farming , for environment , collectively for future generations (ppl). but If the country is run by Dictator ......................................................!

She doesn't know English thats why. She never been to school and she has preserved seeds from generations and spread the awareness. Got parmashri for that.. she is known as seed-mother. She is saying there was no illness when she was child since we started eating hybrid vegetables it all started when she realised this she started farming with desi seeds. She saw huge change and continued to do so. She has seeds bank of 150+ old generational crop. Never been to school but her speach is so inspirational.
